I tell ya. I’m what you call a Mexican food connoisseur. Lol. Eat it like 99% of the time and this was honestly the best meal I’ve ever got. From the warm salsa to the enchiladas I live an hour away but I’m def making the trip. AND lt was less that 15 dollars. Can’t get fast food at them rates nowadays. 10/10.
The food was delicious and the waitress was very nice.
If you're heading to Shreveport from East Texas, you MUST stop here. You get chips & Salsa..but the chips are hot and the homemade salsa warm! 20 plates on the lunch specials, but i always rate a Mexican restaurant on their cheese enchiladas, and they were superb. Lightly covered with thin chili then topped with cheese. REAL MEXICAN CHEESE!
Rice was a 10/10 and the refried beans 9/10.
Overall a 9.5. And the kicker? $9.95.
Don't pass through Joaquin without stopping.
