This is one of those places you hear about and wonder whether you should even go in when you first see it from the outside. The building looks old, rustic, and completely different from what most people would expect from a pizza place. Add the “Cash Only” sign, and we were definitely hesitant. Thankfully, we took the risk!

If you're anywhere near Caddo Lake and haven't eaten at Rusty Mule Pizza in Karnack, you're missing something special. They serve wood-fired, brick oven pizzas and BBQ. The vibe is welcoming, the service is genuinely warm, and the quality speaks for itself. Call ahead, bring cash, and get there hungry.

Atmosphere was phenomenal. Service was really good. Jennifer was very nice. Freshest pizza ive ever had and really good to boot. Of course the complimentary glass of draft beer was a really nice touch. And rusty was a class act.
