The food at this restaurant was excellent. My pasta with sausage was excellent. The pasta was perfectly cooked - not soggy and not overly al dente. The sausage was a authentic with a delightfully kick. My main complaint was the recorded Christmas music. The sound track was too short, so the songs were repeated every 5 minutes or so.
Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen, as we have been to Antonia's many times and always enjoyed the food. However, this was our first time there for lunch. The salmon was overcooked, veggies undercooked. Spaghetti was good but for some reason had a giant, rather crunchy mushroom slice in it. Bolognaise was OK but not up to Antonia's usual standards. We'll be back, but maybe not for lunch...
I had an excellent experience here. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal feel easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a nice night out. I’ll definitely be coming back.
