We stopped by and were extremely disappointed. We had heard really good things. But one of our party was in a wheelchair. This place is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are no tables, just barrail type seating. The staff was nice but unfortunately it was no go.

Parking is trash. And if you park and have valuable stuff in view, your car will get broken into. People getting their cars broken into is very frequent here. Beware. And the restaurant could care less. Seems like they are behind all the break ins.

A one of a kind dive bar like place shaped like a boat. It's tight and mostly bar style service with a few tables around the outside. It's a simple menu of fried shrimp, catfish, crab claws, oysters, hush puppies, fries and gumbo. But the main reason to go here is beautifully fresh shucked oysters on the half shell, for the best price in town. Simple. No frills, elbow to elbow with your neighbors. Exactly what it needs to be and nothing else. They also serve plenty of beer and make the best handmade micheladas in town.

I like this place because they are cheap and have good portions. It reminds me of a neighborhood restaurant, everyone is nice, nothing fancy about it at all. I always get the whole fried catfish and fries.

The place is all for one as soon as you get in. Very ghetto and street style. You have to get your own seats and fight against everyone that wants to cut the waiting line. Very noisy atmosphere and there is no elegance or organization in this place. They take your order like it’s a bar, whoever gets the attention of the bartender first. Really bad experience and not sure why it’s this popular. The parking at Captain Tom’s is also very limited and takes forever to get in and out from it. I rather go to Yummy Seafood & Oyster Bar about 10 minutes from this place. They actually take your name and number if the restaurant is full during peak hours. The food there is much better price and quality also.Parking: Horrible experience at parking, takes forever to go in and out of parking lot.

The only reason to come is here strictly for the food. You’re not coming for the environment or great service. I enjoyed the fried shrimp which appears to be freshly peeled, breaded, and fried to order. Great lunch spot, but definitely not the place to take someone on a date. Seating is single stools only.
Had half shell oyster, fried shrimp and stuffed crab. It's all fresh and fairly priced. Ambience is great, it did feel like a ship inside and great energy of people.
