“Taqueria El Ranchito is AMAZING. I tried the churros with dulce de leche, the birria ramen, and the quesabirrias, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food came out hot, fresh, and so comforting—exactly what you want. The quesabirrias were packed with flavor, the birria ramen was rich and delicious, and the churros were warm, crispy, and the dulce de leche took them to another level. Every bite was so good. Definitely coming here again—this place is a must! 🌮🔥“

“So happy to have found and tried this restaurant! Fair warning, other the prices for item beat other Venezuelan restaurants, it's still priced as a luxury. Think Starbucks pastries. Tried the shredded chicken and shredded beef arapa's. They come with delicious white cheese! But also with mayo and ketchup normally. Unless you love ketchup and/or mayo, recommend ordering that on the side for your first time. I grew up eating them without Mayo, or ketchup. Finally, try the cassava/yucha and cheese pastry, and the potato and cheese empanada. Both were delicious, crispy, and the empanada was flaky. Came with a pinkish hot sauce and a white sauce reminiscent of ranch but not as fancy. All was delicious. Hope to come back and try the pizza pastries, and the sweet plantain pastries. Forgot to ask if any of this was fried, so come on a cheat day, and if you're in the mood or Venezuelan, or to try something new if you're not familiar. Passion fruit/parchita juice available! Sweet, tart, and refreshing. Like a mango limeade but better. I mix it with water though to smooth it out.“

“This was our second class with GianCarlo! We made Tortiloni with 3 generations from my family and we all enjoyed it. Two things I’d highlight:

1) Giancarlo is an engaging teacher who teaches you skills you can take with you. My husband and I both feel we can go home and have pasta making party with our kids or friends and that we’d be successful after just this one lesson. This is more than just a one-time experience but truly a life skill you can take home and incorporate into your own family and traditions.

2) I normally cannot eat much American pasta or bread without some stomach upset. We learned about the health benefits of the European flour that we used in class - and this pasta left us all feeling great. No heaviness or stomach issues. Another win.

“A new Kabob spot popped up on my Instagram so I had to make my way over. I think I actually saw a video of their saffron wings first, that video hooked me. Solid flavor on the wings and the two sauces that came with compliments them pretty well. The chicken kabobs were probably the juiciest I've ever seen, marinade lightly but just enough for me to want to go back and get some more. The two owners were very nice and hospitable. They offered us complimentary hot tea after our meal and I love me some tea! Located in a food truck park right behind Fusion Grill on Mason. There was probably 10 other trucks there but only a few open on Monday. Go get you some!“

“This is a hidden gem in Katy. Friday night around 9 pm they were still working hard cooking up authentic tacos on the grill & smelled mouth-watering good! I stopped in for directions & couldn't stay, but plan on coming back. It's a tight-run family operation. Very friendly & fast service. Outdoor, semi-covered seating, and it's a fun, upbeat, authentic vibe. Highly recommend. It's tucked away, but worth finding! Not your average taco truck. Someone take some taco pics, please!“

“A hidden gem in this neighborhood, and was located by thecside of a gas station, we decided to try some Nepalese food, this food- truck was run by a family and they are so hospitable and very friendly, they also served fresh tea as complimentary and it was very refreshing, we tried their steamed vegetable momo and jhol momo, the veggie fillings are fresh and delicious and the momos are too soft, the Jhol sauce was extraordinary and spiced perfectly, even the dipping sauces which they have hot as well as normal and were too good to go with momos, the paneer pakoda was soft and tasty, even the veg chowmin was perfectly prepared and filled with flavours, a definately revisit kind of a restaurant, I strongly recommend for the people who wants to try some different food, this is the right spot, as the portions are very good for the price and is pocket friendly.“

Pollo El Norteño is hands down one of my favorite pollo trucks. The staff is super friendly and they speak English, which makes the experience smooth and welcoming. The food is Absolutely amazing. Everything is made fresh to order, served hot, and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the mix plate it’s $27, but totally worth every dollar. Generous portions, perfectly seasoned meat, and just so satisfying.

The only downside is that they’re cash only, which means I can’t just drop by on a whim. I have to plan ahead to make sure I have cash on hand. If they accepted Zelle or any other form of digital payment, I’d definitely come by way more often.

Still, if you’re prepared, this place is a gem. Don’t miss it!“

“We have only been enrolled at Dynamic for 2 weeks. However, I want to mention hat my husband and I love the way the coaches are with our son even though my son likes to test others. They are positive and do not get discouraged. They try their best to inspire our son. “This is a great little place that is situated in a gravel parking lot with two other permanent food stands. It's well lit at night and it's clean.

The beef street tacos were so well seasoned and delicious. The spicy Verde sauce was perfect. I will be back for more when I'm nearby. Great late night snack or night cap near hotels by Katy Mills.“

“Best street tacos in Katy! Authentic to what a street tacos should be. The lady that cooks here is also super nice along with the guys that sometimes help her. They are NOT greedy with their taco meat! The tacos are loaded, full size (not tiny), and delicious.

I’ve had their tacos in fajita, pastor, tripa, lengua, campechana, and all have been so good!!

I’ve also had their quesadillas, enchiladas and gorditas (underrated) and they are delicious! Gorditas are HUGE!

Don’t let the small truck or lack of big flashy lights (cough cough lol) fool you, this spot is a hidden hole in the wall.

Salsas are spicy!! Just a warning, a little goes a long way - will make you sweat!“
