my niece went to this restaurant and ordered the chicken katsu. 15 minutes AFTER all her friends got their food, the waiter came over and claimed that the chef made the wrong dish and made wings instead. she was asked if she would like the wings or the katsu (her original order). she said she would like her original order. she was brought the wings anyway. 25 minutes later, she needed to leave and never got the correct food OR a refund. i do NOT recommend.

It’s the third time I've visited this restaurant for lunch. We ordered Peking Duck (half), sizzling black peeper beef, stir fried cabbage heart, dried scallop egg white fried rice, and beef chow fun. The food is consistently of high quality. We’ve been living in Hong Kong for more than a decade, and are truly happy to have the traditional food here in Katy!

However, I must say the service is not commensurate with the food quality -- I refer to the particular waiter who served us on two of the three visits. Didn’t ask for his name. He wears black framed glasses and has ear studs. From the moment we entered the restaurant and were seated until the dishes were served, he never smiled at his customers. Indifferent attitude and tone when I had questions about the dish. He should be retrained, definitely. Other waiters are okay, at a normal level.

A follow-up note on the owner's response: I do not think customers have to wait to receive warm service until your waiters “warm up.” Not customers’ duty. If someone is too shy and believes a serious face is what he must keep, then this person is not a good fit for the waiter position.

I would like to manage up Nata for his exceptional service today. At the end of our meal today, we asked for a to go cup for our tea. Not only did he do so with a smile but also went above and beyond. He also took the initiative to pull our table out when he saw that my elderly guest had trouble getting up and out of the booth.

We enjoyed the wontons which tasted very fresh. Our Cantonese speaking server was also great today.

There is a reason this is a Michelin recommended restaurant. Ate here for Father's day and had a great experience. I've been here several times, and I remember going to their old school location in Bellaire back in the day.
Ordered the lobster, the server recommended the harbour style, and you cannot go wrong. This may have been some of the best lobster I've had.
Everything we ordered tasted amazing.
I recommend this restaurant any day of the week.
We arrived and there was a long wait list outside. I thought it would take over an hour. It ended up being less than 30 mins with over 8 groups ahead of us. So this was worth the wait.

We were seated at a super small table, probably meant for 8-9 people, we were a group of 13-14 people and we called ahead for reservations. There were other open tables in the restaurant and nobody made an attempt to add another table for our group. We kept having to move “out of the way” and move plates around to make space…it was very inconvenient and I’ll probably won’t be back or recommend to any friends.

If you are looking for the best Chinese restaurant in town with local foods, Hong Kong Food Street is your obvious choices for various reasons (1) delicious authentic local foods especially the Pekin ducks (2) clean & friendly services (3) reasonable price.

we got the roasted duck and crispy noodles with sauce. the roasted duck was so delicious, it had a crunchy skin and juicy meat! the crispy noodles were okay, we found them rather bland. the restaurant also gets pretty busy so make sure to call in for a reservation!

Took my family here today for a Mother's day lunch. Made reservations ahead of time so we were seated right away. The restaurant is very nice inside and the servers were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was cooked to order and was hot and fresh. My wife spoke to the owner (who we saw on YouTube) and she said he was very personable. We plan on returning soon! The menu is very extensive but there's something there for everyone.
