JCI-James Coney Island (Mason Rd.)

Food was really good I loves the chili cheese coney however I got kids meals for my kids and went back for the ice cream included in the kids meal and their machine was down I was told. So I asked if we can come back for the ice cream and she made it seem like they weren't sure if it was even getting fixed. I asked if there was something else like cookies she said no so I left but I feel they should be reducing the price of the kids meal if they don't have everything they are selling with it

I have gone to this location from time to time over the past 12 years but I don’t plan on going back again.A couple of weeks ago I went there and included a large order of the chili cheese fries to my meal but when I went to pick it up I was surprised to see that there was only about 2 tablespoons of the chili cheese on top.I ask the lady at the counter if I could have a little more and she said that I would have to pay for (extra) chili cheese. I pointed out that there was hardly any on the order and she got angry.She grabbed my tray, took it to another counter, and added more chili cheese, and shoved it back to me and walked away. She had a very angry look on her face.I won’t go back there again.

The staff is always friendly, the food tastes great and the prices are fair..

We had a great time at JCI Grill. I’m in love with the tamales, the corn dogs, the chili dogs…and the onion rings…yes, we ate a lot. My love addiction with the onion rings and the corn dogs has begun.I have read bad reviews on Google from people and frankly I just don’t understand what is wrong with people. JCI is excellent!

First time at this location! Food was delicious and hot. I had a Greek salad to go for later and salad was very tasty!!Very clean inside and staff was friendly!

Had to try this Houston institution on our way back home from Louisiana. Amazing Coney dogs! Had to do a blind taste test of the regular cheese Coney vs. the deluxe. Both were solid dogs. Consider myself an expert being born and raised in close proximity to Detroit, the birthplace of the Coney Dog! Well worth a stop! Will definitely hit it again.

Another great James Coney Island location. The service is always fast and friendly and the food has been made perfectly to order every time.

Love the food!!.. but when will y'all finally get apple bites back!?? Been here 3 times, and they don't have them.... really upsetting... but still good none the less!

I've been eating james coney island hot dogs ? since I was 7 years old and I'm 57 now and there still taste the same great!! Best hot dog ? ever!!

Today's visit was amazing. The dogs were spot on. I ordered hot dogs, tater tots with cheese and a drink. There was a generous portion of cheese. I can't wait to go back.Update: 9/24/2021 went again today, the order was made incorrectly. I asked for mustard, mayo and cheese whiz, they omitted the mustard. Not a big deal, I put some on myself. I asked for tots with my daughters kids meal, it came out with fries. My daughter, of course being a 5 year old, wouldn't eat them. I had to give her my tots. There were 4 tables that has dirty plates on them, I could tell they had been sitting there for a while. I saw employees standing around talking. I thought one of them could have at least bussed the tables. All in all, the food was good and my daughter and I had a good lunch.

This unit is consistently on point. Always fresh always accurate. Staff do a wonderful job and the restaurant is clean

It was ok but not great. Guess I was expecting better than for the pricey hotdogs and fries. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing.

I think the hot dog buns got bigger its pretty much a pig in a blanket just saying

Got a chili cheese dog with chili that was light brown colored and tasted off... Does not seem like what's in the pictures uploaded by others. Maybe that's how they give them out for delivery orders.
