Okay let me say this. I love to support Black owned businesses! But when I receive my food I can smell CANNED GREENS !!! So I taste my food it’s soooooo salty I mean the greens the ox tails and the mac&cheese is spicy! My sweet potatoes are canned sweet potatoes too!!! I been tricked into buying this food. I read reviews before spending my money. I’m upset to be honest and you all need to do better! But listen try them and come back and let me know how your order is cause this ain’t IT!

Now this food is good. I ordered from uber eats and I wanted to try a new place. So I ordered oxtails, dirty rice, red beans and rice, and fried okra. ( with extra oxtail gravy on the side). Everything is so flavorful and delicious. It’s still hot and I love the okra. Now I know where to get my oxtails from now on.

Oh my goodness!!! This food was soooo delicious and the owners are amazing!!! I came all the way from 45 and 1960 just to try out the food and hunny it did not disappoint. I had the smothered turkey necks rice, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. My son had the fried chicken dirty rice and red beans and rice. It was worth it and I’ll make that drive anytime for some good eating. I might get dessert next time

I ordered through Door dash and had the Oxtails, with Mac and cheese. It was allll so tasty! Rice and gravy made me pause and get my thoughts together. My bf and I are foodies and loved every bit of it. Banana pudding was a great ending to this amazing meal

I’m a Dasher and one day I came to this place. Four times. Each time it smelt amazing in there. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I quickly found out. The food feels like home. I’m a huge fan of Sweet Potatoes and Mac and Cheese, so if I see it on the menu I usually get it. I was not disappointed at all. This was my second time at Kina’s Unique Treats and I will definitely be back.

This was some of the freshest and most flavorful soul food I've had in Houston! We ordered smothered pork chop plates and a wing plate. Everything and I mean everything was well seasoned and cooked well. My only con was the size of the pork chop on this plate. It was the smallest and thinnest pork chop I've ever gotten from a restaurant...And especially from a soul food restaurant where portion sizes are usually so big you have leftovers. The amount of pork given was almost like a small lunch plate. This is the only thing I would like to see them improve. Competitors in the area and city wide are giving much more. Lastly, the mac and cheese is not your typical baked mac. It was macaroni pasta noodles in a cajun like cheese sauce. It wasn't bad but I don't need to get it again. Oh the fried okra was the best I've ever had! It came out piping hot and the batter on the outside is seasoned so well. I will be back to to try other items on her menu!

This food is by far the worst food I’ve ever tasted. The oxtails tasted smoked. The Mac and cheese was watered down and last but least I spent 70 dollars on wings and oxtails. I’m very disappointed

Decide to try this place through uber eats and was not disappointed! I orders the smothered turkey necks with Mac and cheese as well as collard greens. Everything is seasoned very well and was packed tightly and neat :) will order again and recommend to my friends and family

The food was impeccable!!!! The fried ribs were so darn good and the Mac and cheese and Collard greens were definitely worth running home and telling your family about!!! Its a must try! Can't wait to try my cake 😋. It was my first time there today and trust it will not be my last! Thank yall!!

Highly disappointed. Ordered from Uber Eats. $23 for 1 smothered very thin pork chop. Although it was good, I did not expect only 1 very thin chop at that price. I'm done.
