Based on the reviews, Pho Saigon has the best pho broth around. I decided to give it a try and see how it compares to my usual pho spots. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Sunday night, and was decent. They were sweeping and mopping as I walked in, and I didn't smell the odor some of the reviewers mentioned. I ordered the Special Pho sub tendon and tripe w/ extra meatballs. Price was fair and comparable to the nearby places. My order had 3 meatballs sliced in half, not...
I had the pork and rice and my wife had the mixed pho. My pork was tasty but I was hungry again after an hour or so. My wife was not impressed with the pho base, unfortunately so, we probably won't be going back again.
We arrived and ordered our meal. The wait staff was professional and friendly.
The problem was the ownership /management. Very rude and discourteous. I felt like they were doing me a favour. Horrible feeling.
I won't be going there again
..too many Pho establishments in the Houston. They may be prejudice not certain but I got that feeling only from the management , not the wait staff.
