I recently had the chance to try Nigerian pepper soup and fufu for the first time, and it was just as fantastic as many of my friends had recommended. I chose the medium-hot assorted meat pepper soup, which had just the right amount of heat for me. The soup was very savory and aromatic, thanks to the herbs and spices added to it, making it quite complex. The assorted meats, which included various offal, were tender and delicious. The food was absolutely delicious! The oxtail was tender and the jollof flavorful. The portion was perfect for one person and i had a bit extra. The food was comforting and i will definitely come back when im back in Houston.

The food is always amazing but the wait is LONG and the restaurant is noisy even with just a few guests. I’ve been coming here close to a year and the food is consistently good. I wish they had some sort of points or reward system. That’s just my two cents.
