The bagels here are just fine. Everyone in my family enjoys the flavors they pick, and the food itself is perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, that is where my enjoyment ends.
The staff consistently comes across as unfriendly, unhelpful, and at times snappy. I can see how regulars might understand the unwritten rules of how this place operates, but for occasional customers, any small misstep is met with impatience rather than guidance. The overall vibe feels cold and unwelcoming, which makes the experience uncomfortable.
The saving grace for Katy is that we now have more bagel options nearby, so customers are no longer stuck tolerating poor service just to get a decent bagel. Food matters, but so does how you treat people.

When I was here the place was packed which usually is a good sign. It was my first time and for some reason I could barely hear what the person at the register was saying. Anyway, the bagels were great. I say were because they didn’t make it home, finished them in the car. I’ll try to come earlier maybe it isn’t as packed.

I have been into bagels and cream cheese recently and checked out the bagel cafe this morning. Easily one of THE BEST bagels I've ever had!! I ordered the garlic bagel lightly toasted with chive cream cheese. I will absolutely recommend this shop to everyone!
We came Saturday morning to grab a quick bite but we decided to dine in! Santa was there, they had love music, and the atmosphere was just so welcoming. The staff are so kind all the way through! The bagels were easily some of the best I’ve ever had! We will be coming back!
