I had a problem with my order that I purchased in the store and contacted Jay the GM and he personally delivered to me to make up for it! He was courteous, caring and very professional in handling the issue with my order.

This was yesterday around lunch time.To start, I went for my mom, she did not go inside so I had these interactions. She stated the food was good.As for me, when I walked in I was the only customer there. There were two gentleman behind the counter and two other men off to the side.After being greeted by the two gentleman behind the counter one notified me that he was working on an online order and that he would be right with me. He was very kind and helpful so I had no problem waiting and he even clarified about online menus and how each Dickey’s is different (something I didn’t know).So as I’m waiting another customer comes in and the man behind the counter mentions that they are under new management (the two guys off to the side).A few moments later the online order recipient comes in and by this time I’m at the register, she is thanked by the “new management” for her order but I was not. Literally close enough to hear her being thanked.I do want to add in here that the two very helpful men behind the counter doing the work are white and the “new management” were of what looked to be African/Middle-Eastern/Indian * [I’m not trying to be disrespectful in anyway, I just don’t know those facts ]* their complexion is close to mine. It surprised me because I was like right there paying for my mom’s food.This is my experience of not being thanked by new management while the previous customer did. I’m not sure about the customer after me I was gone by then.My advice to new management, I pray this review helps you two with customer interaction.In closing you can choose where you want to spend your money and feel appreciated.

The last 3 visits to Dickey’s in Kaufman Tx resulted in no food. Twice the credit card machine was down, and the other visit they were getting a catering order together and told me to come back in 20-30 minutes. Never going back.

Just bought a to-go order (receipt #1523-953-55072) for a half-pound of CHOPPED brisket, a half-slab of ribs, and a side of beans. Got home and found there was NO CHOPPED brisket whatsoever! Not even SLICED brisket! Not sure what this long, stringy mess might be, but I threw it out; I won’t eat something if I don’t know what it is. Tried calling them but no one answers and their voicemail is full (probably other upset customers). I’ll NEVER be back to ANY Dickey’s location, but I’ll DEFINITELY pass the word! WHAT A RIPOFF!

Ordered a half-pound of chopped brisket, half-slab of ribs, and a side of beans. Got home with it and found NO chopped brisket whatsoever! Nor even any sliced brisket. Just some long, stringy mess that I don’t even know what it might have been, so I threw it out; I won’t eat anything if I don’t know what it is. Tried calling but no one answered and their voicemail was full (probably other disgruntled customers). Very last time I’ll ever eat at ANY Dickey’s location, but I’ll definitely spread the news!

Arrived at 8:20pm, and all the tables were packed. Employees were packing food, and the young girl was rudely staring at us confused. The restaurant closes at 9pm. This sums up 2024.

Dirty restaurant, soda machine is broken so they are pouring canned soda into the yellow cups. They hired kids that just stand around when the dining room has dirty tables, trash cans and windows. They also don’t serve fried foods so no okra or french fries for the kids. Pretty negative experience and won’t be back.

I ordered two three meat plates! I receive NO bbq sauce, NO pickles, NO onions and was SHORTED a side of green beans. I tried calling them but phone goes to voicemail and the voicemail is full. I can't even leave a message! I had it door dashed because I lent out my vehicle to my daughter so I can't go up there. After a $60 dollar order what a let down!

Dickey's is to BBQ what McDonalds is to a fine steak house. Ordered brisket, and watched him open a pre-packed, thawed and reheated bag of something that might have been meat in a previous life, and slice off a piece of what they called "brisket" that quite literally looked like a slice of spam. It took everything I had not to shout out "What the F is that?" I then tried to add some BBQ sauce that somehow was more runny than water and didn't taste as good. This place should be illegal by Texas' standards. Please do humanity (and our taste buds) a favor and close down.
