So, before I begin my story, let me just start with, GO. You will not regret going to this place. They make their own simple syrup and mix the flavors fresh. The guy that helped us, Craig or Greg (cant remember his name) was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Fluffy, soft, and delicious.
Story time..... Back before 2020 my kids would love to go to the big brand name, lets call it "K" ice. Afterwords they would have a huge spike in sugar rush and then a headache. We couldn't figure out what was going on until 2020, when I started making our own shaved ice at home. I make my own simple syrup and mix the flavors in small quantities (my random skill I learned during the lockdown). Since then, no sugar spikes and no headaches when eating shaved ice. Then last year the kids asked for "K" shaved ice again, as it was at the event we were at. Sure enough, sugar spike and headache returned. After some research I was able to narrow it down to the fact that "K" ice, because of the size and number of "stores", have premade flavorings... that have a really long shelf life. Which means, a LOT of preservatives and other stuff you don't want. I am a little picky now when looking for shaved ice places... so imagine my surprise when a random road trip stop turned out to be exactly what we needed. I talked to the employee first to get an idea of what flavoring they use, and I was pleasantly surprised that they basically make them exactly how I would make it at home. FRESH, homemade Simple Syrup, small mixes of flavors to keep them fresh, and something I will start doing at home, LAYERED flavoring. Great idea and keeps the ice tasting great all the way to the end, instead of just the top. The taste was amazing!! I will 100% be back, and we have already been twice now.

Nice refreshing treat on a warm day or any day really. Take a break from shopping and grab a shave ice in any combo creation you can come up with.
