Just finished a fantastic breakfast at Kassandra’s. I had the carne guisada and eggs, added some hashbrowns, and everything was wonderful. Flavorful and tender beef, crispy hashbrowns, and warm soft homemade tortillas. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. A few of the negative reviews made me nervous but I can only assume they caught the place on an off day for some of the staff as my service was fast and friendly. As you might note from my other reviews, I visit Mexican restaurants all across the southwest and expect specific flavors and experiences, and this place meets my expectations perfectly.

Another local restaurant just a couple of miles from our home - that we've never come to, until today. So many good places in our area but this one ranks at the top of our list now. We stopped in early on a Friday evening. They have a lot of tables in the dining room but it seems popular so get here earlier. Or prepare to wait a little bit. They're located in a very small strip center and it doesn't look like much outside. Once you step inside - it's transformed into a very quaint mom n pop restaurant. We definitely got a comfortable feeling with their ambiance. After waiting about 15 minutes we were seated. The wait staff is top notch. They're super friendly and very attentive. The chips and salsa came out quickly and our drinks were brought to us a few minutes after we got our drinks. We ordered a cup of the Kassandra's dip which was equally awesome. A very good queso with ground beef in it. I ordered the combo fajitas, which were UNBELIEVABLY amazing! So much flavor and loved those homemade tortillas. Even the rice and beans had so much flavor in them. My wife chose the Barbacoa burrito. It looked so good I had to steal a bite. Instantly had some envy of her choice. I'll get that next time for sure. All this and it didn't break the bank. Amazing food, clean restaurant, awesome service and very reasonable. We found a new favorite!

I am not ashamed to be writing this 15 minutes after picking up my lunch but.. the enchiladas will have you dancing like David did before the Lord. I never touch rice or beans when I get enchiladas but they put love into every aspect of their food so my plate was clean. Tucked in Keller but it's not shy of the best Mexican restaurant I've been to, I'm not biased but we have the same name. Y'all $13 for 3 enchiladas, rice, beans AND chips and salsa?? Skip the taco casa and come here please. Cute environment but most of all, Godly people.

The atmosphere here is nice. However, service is sometimes subpar, and they lack self-awareness. Today, I ordered a dish. At the end the dish was not eaten and the plate was completely full. They asked to take the plate and ran off without asking why I didn't eat my food. I paid, reduced tip to 15% because of the subpar service and lack of concern to find out why I was unhappy with food. I could have said something, but the waitress was a little rude already. A little waste of money, but peace of mind I am certain I should not return. The two visits prior to this visit, I had got sick and contributed it to food at Kassandra's. It had been sometime before I decided to return for this visit and only did because a friend desired to go here. I did not get sick on the last visit, but I didn't really eat my meal. I think everything was more fresh this time, but I question if some days they use day old rice and beans.

Slow but food is good, only one waitress named Carmen that is really on top of her game.. Others seem like they just don't want to be there or shall I say they don't like there job....food prices good! On another occasion one short Mexican waiter brought out very burnt bacon, I mentioned to another waiter and again burnt bacon, my hubby talked to owner JUAN, and he acted like he didn't care, and seems to have the love if money, more on his mind, than customer service.Oh and some very rude servers!

I'm giving 5 stars so I don't hurt their ratings, but fun fact, Kassandra's is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Such a shame, that's when the hubs and I can go out for lunch or dinner. What's crazy is they appear to be replacing their business sign on the building so it says "Kassandra's We're open" which ofc I realize that means they're still in business (but closed on Saturday and Sunday has to be hurting them. Anyway, we will go back when we can, I love Mexican food and heard their entrees are very good, so we will be back. This post is mostly to inform the reader that posted on their door are their hours and it definitely says Sat: closed Sun: closed.

We were looking for a quick bite, late in the day, during a trip. Good ratings and an interesting looking menu brought us to Kassandra's and we were glad it did.First, the food here is somewhere in the middle between full-on authentic and fast casual type of selection. We opted to split the Nachos w/ Chicken and the Brisket Tacos. Both were tasty and filling and MORE than satisfied our hunger at the of a very long day.We arrived about a half hour before closing with the plan to order and take it with us. We changed our minds last second and opted to dine in. Service was extremely fast (we were paid and out the door before closing time and we never felt rushed) and the food was very good. We both agreed that it's good we don't have a place like this near our home. :)
