It's been awhile since we last ate here. The owners have renovated the restaurant with a Texas/country atmosphere complete with beautiful classic country music. There is also a big screen TV with Euro 2024 (soccer) playing. I ordered the relleno and it's homemade. I prefer to have a light salsa sauce on it vs the processed cheese topping. I don't like onions and that was the 2nd flavor in the salsa served with chips. I can enjoy salsa usually but the onion flavor...
Food was average. Ambience was nice, except a giant TV blaring Newsmax right in front of me. I don’t appreciate politics shoved down my throat when dining on enchiladas. Tone deaf ownership.
Just finished a fantastic breakfast at Kassandra’s. I had the carne guisada and eggs, added some hashbrowns, and everything was wonderful. Flavorful and tender beef, crispy hashbrowns, and warm soft homemade tortillas. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. A few of the negative reviews made me nervous but I can only assume they caught the place on an off day for some of the staff as my service was fast and friendly.As you might note from my other reviews, I visit...
