We recently visited Kemah Steak Company for a date night and had an exceptionally cool dining experience!
First off, the restaurant is camouflaged inside of an old historic house. We had no idea that when we walked in the door we would be transported to a charming speak-easy style restaurant and bar that not only has the perfect room for an intimate dinner, but also has a more casual bar with so many cool quirky accents, too. It was romantic yet fun, and our service was top-notch.
We had the Shrimp Scampi appetizer, as well as the Lobster Bisque, both which were so flavorful and rich. We shared the 20oz Prime Steak that was cooked to perfection and cut like butter, with a side of Truffle Mac n Cheese đ€€ I can honestly say itâs one of the best steaks Iâve ever had. It was so flavorful and tender!! We ended with the Limoncello cake for dessert, which was something we both would have never ordered, but our server, Kyia, recommended it and we were so glad that she did! It was the perfect light touch to end our dinner.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner even came to our table to talk to us, and ended up giving us a full tour of the entire restaurant, including the historic âPresidents Tableâ and the HIDDEN MEMBERS-ONLY CIGAR ROOM!
If you're looking for a place that combines romantic date night vibes with delicious food and a cozy bar with killer Old Fashions đ„ , Kemah Steak Company is definitely the place to go!

We were extremely impressed with everything we ate, service was beyond top notch and the atmosphere is cozy and what youâd expect from any high end steakhouse. We are foodies so there isnât a steak place we havenât visited in the Houston area. Kemah Steak Company is definitely in the top 3 weâve had. The Kemah Steak Company is truly exceptional! The baked potato soup was rich and creamy, and the frenched breast chicken with lemon butter caper sauce was bursting with flavor. The butterscotch bourbon bar was the ideal sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional staff and service. From the moment you walk in, youâre greeted with warmth and attention that makes you feel right at home. The ownerâs hands-on approach and genuine care for his customers shines through in every detail, making it clear that he is dedicated to providing a top-tier experience. We only stopped in to look at menu and have a drink as we are new to the area. The couple at the bar next to us gave the place a rave review stating "we have eaten at steakhouses all over the world and this place is the best." Big words! We will be back to dine .... More to come.
We had such a wonderful experience last night with a big group. The service, drinks and food were all 5 star! The atmosphere is a cozy, old school lounge vibe, great for anniversary dinners or a professional work setting to impress VPâs. Weâll be back!

We heard about Kemah Steak Company recently and decided to make reservations for my husband, our 9 year old, and myself. I wish I would have taken pictures but my kiddo was so excited about the 16oz filet we were sharing it escaped my mind. It was HUGE and cooked perfectly medium rare. We split a large baked potato as well. The 'crust' on the filet was flavorful and cooked just right. My husband had a 16 oz ribeye with magic butter and mac n cheese. He said it's the best steak he's had in a restaurant in over 5 years. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back. You should give it a try!

Kemah Steak Company Morgan will great you with the warmest smile, Sonya will make you the best drinks around and share some laughs and Kyia will serve you the best steaks hands down. We have been coming here for over a year now and there is nothing as good as Allen Brother's steak. The truffle mac and cheese is to die for and as I said the steaks just melt in your mouth. We cannot say enough about this place and the lovely ladies who run it.

Our favorite steakhouse! The quality of their cuts is exceptionalâtender and flavorful. The Truffle Mac n' Cheese is rich and creamy with just the right amount of truffle. The sautĂ©ed spinach compliments the richness of the steak. And of course letâs not forget to mention the wine! We usually ask for the same bottle but the servers have been great at recommending something new to us.
