We were driving by Kemah and decided to stop by for a beer. We walked around the various bars in the area, and most of them were very empty, probably because it was still early (around 630p) on a Saturday night. But when we walked past this place, it was buzzing. There were 3 or 4 small groups in their outdoor terrace, and you could feel the energy. Music was playing but not getting much in the way of conversation, so it was a nice atmosphere. We went inside to grab a beer. The bartender was busy, and when we asked about their IPA beers, she said we should look at the board. The electronic beer menu was flipping fast, so I could not quite go through one page before it got changed. We saw one we wanted to try, but after she walked back to the tap, she returned and let us know they were out. We finally got one we liked after a second try. We then walked out to the patio where the atmosphere was a bit more fun.
Of the places in the three blocks we walked, this seemed the most fun. If it was not for the electronic beer menu changing on me, I would give it 5 stars.

Would like to give a 5 star review solely for the bar staff. Fantastic staff always supportive of animals despite recent changes to policy (which I don’t agree with). The food is always top notch and service is what you expect from a great establishment. Wish they let dogs inside still though. :(

I cannot believe the other day there was an almost 100 pound dog at the bar on a bar stool with its face on the bar while people were eating. Then this dog was on the ground barking so loud it hurt my ears and also snapping a people as they walk by. I have it all on video and submitting it to the Health Department and local news. Never again.....

We have been coming to this bar for 11 years now. But leave it up to greedy politicians to force you to pay to park by reducing the areas of free parking. We love coming here on Friday’s for lunch but will not be forced to pay to park.
We were looking for a spot for lunch today while riding bikes. Saw this spot that has been around for years and stopped in. Atmosphere and decor were great, service was as well. Food was very good and prices reasonable. Best of all, the French fries are fried separately from shellfish and that was a bonus find.
Dietary restrictions: Shellfish free French fries!

I recently visited this bar with my cousin, who was visiting from out of town, and unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience. The bartender was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite seeing us waiting, she chose to chat with others instead of taking our order or answering our questions. It was disappointing to be treated so disrespectfully, especially when trying to show my cousin a good time. This kind of service leaves a bad impression, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.
