“OMG....My new BEST place!! Why no previous reviews (that I read) mentioning the POKER table game going on?? Was my 1st visit here but will NOT be my last! I am known as OG & I am an 'older lady' (66 going on 26) who loves, Loves, LOVES shooting pool & dancing to the music!! I felt accepted & loved immediately!! I'm in heaven right now with the good music, playing pool with Tanner & Brooke & having a GREAT TIME!!!! No judging here. You are our people when you walk thru the door!! Sheet can get a little crazy as the day's end approaches & as the booze rolls on but WTF, love it or leave it! We come to chill, playing games, converse, dance to the music, just let it all hang out, de-stress & have a good time!! NO one allowed to drive home drunk. Ain't happening, love y'all too much!! Someone will help ya or last resort...The police can come get you to make sure you get home safe...eventually. LMAO!! Everyone looks Ain't happening, love y'all too much!!!! I'm next on the pool table after I feed the jukebox for some tunes!! Later my friends!!“

“I went to Sunshine with my best friend one night because we were trying to explore Arlington at the time.. Long story short… i have rarely went to any other bars since that day. Every bartender has become a close friend and every customer is different. I literally have taken my grandmother here twice and she loves it. There is every type of crowd and a wide range of ages/music nightly.. cheap enough drinks that are served by bartenders who actually care. Shoutout Kate..Val.. Sean.. and Nat & Emily even tho they have since left .. 10/10 recommend!!“

“I was in Dallas for work, I didn’t know anyone out here so I looked for a bar to hang out at and this one was perfect. The atmosphere was there. The bartenders are really nice. I just needed to get out of the hotel but I enjoyed hanging out there would definitely recommend!“

“First time to stop by here and it was cool! The owner, Curtis put on a golf tournament and the prizes were given out at his place. I loved my barbacoa tacos! So good!

“The party melt smashed was very delicious and it was more then enough for me. The thick shakes and the old fashion names of the soft drinks blew me away. The barrels of assorted pickles were also a bonus as well. I will definitely return here again and recommend it to others.“

“I came here a couple nights ago for the first time ever just a while before they closed- with some dude I'd just met the same night. Sadly he turned out to be weird for no proper reason to the bartenders but the bartenders were so great! I'm so sorry about that guy! This place was great!“

“I feel like the Stockyards are losing their authenticity. Brought a friend from London, the music playing was just typical rock and when the band came on at 8:00 it was very folksy, no dancing, it just didn't fit the vibe. He asked why he wasn't hearing very much country music in the whole area lol. I don't go as often as I used to when I was growing up, but I feel like the whole area is changing. But the service was good and we enjoyed our time overall.“

“I haven’t even been here yet but just from reading the owner’s responses to certain bad reviews (which are hilarious by the way) I am a fan! Actually, whenever I am having a bad day or am bored I just reread some of those reviews and responses.
I can’t wait to try this place out. I’d probably be a regular if I lived closer.“

“I hadnt been in this place in a while. came in and found out that the manager had retired which was a bummer she was very nice attentive and friendly. Whomever they put in her place needs training on how to treat customers she was very rude but friendly to what I assume were regulars It took about ten minutes to get my first drink after that I was not acknowledged at all. Needless to say I will not return.“
