This was a great experience. Food was the best, the service was perfect. The restaurant was spotless. Very clean and they did not try to freeze you out with air conditioner turned up so high you need a coat to eat like SoaringDragon does. This is our new place to go for chinese cuisine.
Trusted friends challenged us to try China Bowl but we couldn't imagine anywhere else, especially in a small town, could compare! Could there be room for TWO great Asian food restaurants? We've been regulars at the Dragon, food is always good, price fair but staff less than friendly and often don't have my wifes home made Vietnamese Fried Spring rolls. We were staying in Kerrville and hungry for Chinese, so tried this place. We were very happy we did! They have the traditional dishes, but also some different takes on dishes - we got the one in the clay pot with several different kinds of meat. One meal was plenty for the two of us to split, and it was delicious. The server was attentive without hovering, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly as well. We were pleased to see that all people working there were wearing masks...
