We eat here often. Wonderful surf and turf, I get the filet with grilled shrimp, always cooked perfectly! Love the shrimp basket and also the pasta Pontchartrain! Love the staff and banana pudding!
We are hooked this place has the best chicken gumbo, fried shrimp, hush puppies, catfish as so on ,the waitress was excellent, I highly recommend you try it you will love it and return ,besides we enjoy our drive from San Antonio to Kerrville its beautiful. Can't wait to go back to Bayou Cajun.
Upon entering, we had a wait at the door. The greeter was running around in the restaurant bringing meals from the kitchen. We were seated, ordered appetizers and a drink. The appetizers came pretty fast. We ordered our meal. It took over an hour and a half for our meal to arrive. I looked around at people that came in with us or close to our time. They had not received their meals either. Need more staff and more cook staff. Food was ok, I will not be going back nor recommend...
