“It was good, but not the best I've had. Also, how can a bbq restaurant run out of brisket? After we ordered, 6 of us, the waitress informed us they were out of brisket and inly 3 of us would get brisket. So we got sausage. A bit disappointing.”

“All good as always, always a great meal and all you can eat. This is southern style food, real chicken fried steak, real hand battered fried chicken! Lots of choices of fresh hot vegetables, and don’t forget desert..bread pudding on the end of the dessert bar and sweet creamy sauce to add to bread pudding is a must. Still a great value especially if you like to eat! Bring your appetite”

“Cajun Ben’s catered the PCF 10 year anniversary and they did an awesome job! The crawfish were big and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were excellent, too! The meat pies made for the perfect - walk around lookin at buggies - food. And they were super good! We ate crawfish until it was all gone late that night! Looking forward to eating some Cajun Ben’s soon!”

“This is a peddler’s pizza *food truck*, 🛻 not a free standing building. There is limited parking and if you don’t know what you’re looking for, you might drive right by. I recommend calling ahead because of the wait time. 📱 The wait time is about average for pizza though so no surprises there. ⏰ We got peddlers pizza a lot when I was growing up and it’s as delicious now as it was then. The first bite sent me straight back into time. 🍕 Tried the garlic cheese bread for the first time and wow! 🧄 It’s a whole garlicky, buttery, cheesy, crispy pizza cut into 16 slices. 😍 Where has this been all my life?! Apparently right in front of my face and I was goofy enough not to order it until now! 10/10 recommend! 🤤”

“I came on 11/8/24 around 6:00pm and it was a line of 4 people in front of me. There were 2 younger guys working (1 seemed new) and the line behind me was starting to grow.

I appreciate the 1 worker stopping to ask while continuing to make sandwiches how everyone's day is going; and he paused at a different point to apologize about the wait. I also noticed that although swamped, they didn't rush the customer in front and that they continued to take the glove off when dealing with money then getting new glove to continue making sandwiches. I didn't leave until 6:30.

I commend how they handled the rush and I made sure to tell them before leaving i appreciated the professionalism (and also left a $5 tip).”

“My wife loves Mexican food so we stopped at this place after a long day of driving. It turned out this was my wife best Mexican restaurant for the soft shell tacos and I have to agree. The small chopped beef was tender, a small slice of avocado was included. Dipped in the green sauce, the tacos were so great that I ate them all. The waitress was very tentative and the manager was super friendly. We'll find this place when we head back home in a week. Come by and see if I'm right. I know I'm right. 😂”

“So good! We’re from Houston and have struggled to find a taco stand that comes even close to the food there. This place definitely can compete.
A year later and they’re still just as good if not better. Great people and their pastor tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“I had some guy dropping me off in front of their store with all my belongings and a hell of a black eye. They offered the most thorough, genuinely kind hearted welcome. They carried my things in, got me a drink and some food. I was suuuuper humiliated and feeling like I was at my bottom for sure, with no one caring whether I live. They definitely picked the right time to remind me of the good in the world. I may not have been around tomorrow. I’m super grateful for their hospitality, and I DEFINITELY recommend them 🥺🥰🥳”

“Oh, what a treat I was in for when I entered the Subway in Kilgore TX! As soon as me and my husband opened the door, we received a hearty welcome and a big smile from both Brandi and Nikki. Nikki was the quiet one, but Brandi blew us away. Not only did she speak she stayed engaged in pleasant conversation with us throughout our visit. Her energy and joy were certainly a delight, and you couldn’t help but leave feeling encouraged and blessed by her presence. This young lady deserves a raise and a promotion. She went above and beyond!!! So much so that we left the store and I called back to get her name, because I wanted to write this review.
Other things we noticed right off is the restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the area where the food was; clean. I have never ever been in a Subway where everything was clean, and the service was spectacular. Thank you, Brandi and Nikki, for making our day! As a sidebar, every time we travel, I usually wait a week until returning home to write my reviews….but this couldn’t wait. These young ladies should be celebrated every day.”

“Thank you for bringing over the young lady from your college location. I heard her telling a vustomer she was filling in. I come in this location alot but NEVER got this type of service. So speechless from her customer service i didnt catch her name. But let me tell you how amazing this young lady is. When i came in it was as if i witnessed a spiritual moment. Its been so long since ive experience customer service on this level. Every customer being greeted , acknowledged helped efficiently, such a friendly spirit. I told my husband i felt like i was standing in front of a earth angel. You can tell she's Gods child. You all have a special young lady on your team. I felt so renewed after visiting this location. Put everything into perspective for me to see someone working a fast food job so humble most people act like they hate there job. Store was also very clean. Impressed and definitely will be visting her at the college location soon”

“The manager, Andy, is the kindest and nicest manager I've met! He goes around checking with customers at their tables and is really a joy to talk with. The food is always great! The servers have all been very nice and attentive, and didn't let our drinks run out. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable and the tables and booths and chairs are always clean. Andy runs a very professional restaurant that my husband and me always enjoy.

The chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, the grilled cajun duo, and the chicken enchilada soup are my favorites!”

He finishes our order and proceeds to make our drinks he got 3 right and was making the last one and I was telling him what it was and he goes, “ I KNOW!” He then proceeds to mess it up. I asked for grilled nuggets and what do I get. Fried nuggets. This dude was rude and disrespectful. Other than him, experience was great.”
