Waffle Bear & Cafe Latino

First time going there. Read the reviews all good with the exceptions of a few but those weren't a concern. The first impression when walking in was clean and neat, tables were set with the chairs for 2,3,4 or if needed extra chairs for seating. The service was exceptional. The staff was polite and attentive, going above and beyond. The ambiance of this restaurant is simply fantastic. The cozy atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious, the food and service quality was truly exceptional, we can't wait to come back. We highly recommend this cafe.Thanks very much, you cooked our meal to perfection. We've been looking forward to trying Waffle Bear & Cafe Latino for awhile now, and was so glad that we did. We highly recommend this cafe.

Pupusas are definitely good! Good taste,homemade taste! not too greasy,decent size all I would say is that I couldn't identify which one was chicharron and cheese from the beans and cheese. The small order of fried platanos was a good portion, enough for 2 people atleaset! I'm not a fan of platanos with sour cream so I had em with lechera in my house. Great prices as well.

The food is exceptional! Flavorful, fresh, and portions are definitely worth the price! The place needs some TLC, but they're definitely putting their time where it counts... the food. However, the service, or lack thereof, is what has me thinking this is more of an order-to-go than a dine in. There was no cashier/waitress in place. The cook comes out to take your order, needless to say the place is susbstantially under staffed. Drinks are not listed in the menu, so if you dont specifically ask for coffee, you wouldn't know they serve it. The atmosphere is very nostalgic of a small town restaurant and nice in that way. Again, the food is phenomenal!

Horrible service with a very bad attitude on the part of the owner. I asked him to make me 2 more pupusas and he replied that that would not be possible since I had many orders and I was half eaten. I felt so embarrassed I would have understood if he had told me that I had to Wait longer because he had more orders before mine but he only responded that he couldn't sell me any more. Apart from that, the coffee looks like water with sugar. They no longer offer sauce for the pupusas and they don't give you the choice of the pickle you want alone. They make you spicy, they give you what they want

There's not much here as the place needs some TLC. The front staff... well, he tried. The food was okay, but I didn't try the pupusas. I'm usually good with little hole in the wall restaurants, but this location will not be a repeat for me.
