I visited a friend in Killeen (I’m from NJ) and we went to this place the last day I visited and we both agreed it was the best food we have had this whole trip! I ordered 4 birria tacos which came with consommé for about $17. Although this may be pricy to some, I’ve paid $20 for 2 birria tacos back in NJ. My friend ordered the birria ramen with a side of tortillas and a drink which came to about $15. Both the tacos and ramen were so fresh, flavorful, and packed with meat....
El Patron Taco truck was a hit with my family. The littles loved the chicken quesadillas. I had the poboy sandwich (battered and fried chicken breast with slivers of hot dog and avocado … I didn’t like it. The Birria tacos were delicious. This is my #1 choice.
Such nice people! I had the birria tacos because of all the reviews saying how amazing they were, but they were just ok… I got that and a lemonade and it turned out being more than $20. I understand food truck items cost more but the lemonade itself was $5 and it’s clearly not fresh lemonade and had a strange taste. I love me a big plate and will devour everything but like I said the birria tacos were just ok (not so good) so I didn’t even finish and threw away):
