Loved the joint, food is great, nice atmosphere and owners. Would recommend to all my fellow truck drivers, its gon be easier to get to once construction will be over, but i had no problem walking there from Valero gas station lot :)
Called the Kings Inn and the wait was 1 1/2 hours. No food is good enough for me to wait that long to be seated. So we tried this place which was said to be similar to Cotton's which is long gone. Here at Big House BBQ and Burgers things moved slowly. The big platter of fried appetizers, they call a Cactus Bowl, was very good. Good Tea. There were 5 of us. Everyone liked their food. This included BBQ, grilled catfish, Tortilla Soup, and salads.

I was visiting my daughter and her fiance and they took me it was really good the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring it was soo tender it was delicious. The sides were also really good. Can't wait until I go back.
