This restaurant is hidden from big or main roads. It’s by a gas station and we found it by chance. We had their steak a la Mexicana and guisado de carne con papas, they were both very good. Their menu is quite large so you do have enough options. Servers are attentive and they make sure you are well taken care off. I will go again and hope I can stick to this review for a long time. They're in the process of changing their name to El Jimador Mexican grill. Also, the biggest reason why I'm giving them 5 stars is because the food we had tasted like real mexican food; not tex-mex. It's nice going to a place where you can find traditional mexican food.Update 3/1/21Went back and this time the portions were much smaller; we ordered the same steak a la Mexicana and it came with plenty of onions and peppers and very little beef; just enough for two tacos. We also ordered the Chile relleno and it was not only small but it also had very little beef. Servers were very good but I don’t think I will be going back.

We had such a nice family dinner here. Food was SO good and service was superb. Nice little gem in Forest Cove. Clean & bright interior. Our two tiny children enjoyed themselves as well.

Great place! Nice and cozy with great food and service!! Tony at the bar makes great margaritas! Very attentive and kind! The hostesses were also super welcoming and friendly! Loved that the waiter repeated everything in Spanish and English for my blended family!!

Food was good. Waiter was good. Atmosphere of the place was very relaxed and easy going which my friends and I enjoyed. We ate on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because I’ve had better TexMex before but it was still good food though.

My first time here with my sister. Food was good pretty tasty. But customer services receives a 0 stars. Waiter would leave while we asked questions about food. We had to flag him down to get a refill or get missing items that we ordered. It was not busy. Just us and another party.
