The cafeteria used to be much better, but has slowly declined the past few years. The coffee is pretty bad. We drink it out of necessity not because it tastes good.
They used to have the option to order omelets and eggs any way you like. Now they offer powdered eggs, and hard boiled eggs. This is fine, but not everyday. I think the army d-fac might do it better. Most is the time the sausage is undercooked, and the bacon is overcooked
On a positive, the biscuits and gravy is pretty good, and they always have fresh fruit.

An aid came In my mother's room and checked every box on a checklist sheet without talking to anyone here is the list. Did not talk to anyone in the room or the patient. Never come here if you can help it.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Everything looks great, I just can't get over the Thai noodles! Those with the chicken Thai wrap were so delicious!

My wife was admitted here many times…The hospital was always kind to her, the doctors and all the staff of nurses…all wonderful and compassionate…the staff cleaning the rooms….I can’t say enough praise for this hospital….the kitchen Cafe staff are beyond helpful!…I would eat here almost on a regular basis…during holiday times I would grab a nice thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner…everyone was and is very pleasant…I will continue to do so…I have no family here…I’ll see you on Thanksgiving… R.Bruner

While my hubby had a 4-day stay at KW Medical Hospital; I enjoyed stopping in and eating in the Kingwood Cafe.
The servers always had a smile, very friendly, and the food was good. After being here so long, It was nice going by and seeing they’re friendly face.
