I’m new to Kingwood from Charlotte, NC; as a result, I placed my order online for pickup so that I would get the opportunity to check out the restaurant interior and cleaning standards. Upon entering the vestibule of the restaurant, I was greeted unexpectedly by a foul odor. I continued into the restaurant to find that the odor permeated the restaurant. I informed the lady working that I would like to cancel my order because of the smell. She cancelled it, and I exited expeditiously for fear of my clothing absorbing the smell. I had high hopes for this restaurant; I will not return.

I really try to avoid writing bad reviews as I know how hard it is to run a business In today’s age. That is no excuse for a not performing basic tasks like cleaning. The smell as soon as you walk in reminds me of my grandmothers basement. I wouldn’t even find if the food was 10/10 but it’s not. My food was hot and seemed freshly made however the taste was extremely underwhelming. Egg roll was bland and all I tasted was salt. My main dish and rice were very similar. The staff were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Please please please shampoo the carpet and start adding some seasoning of some kind to the food that isn’t pure salt/MSG.

Ordered pickup. Was called shortly thereafter to tell me it would be ~20. Arrived 25 minutes later and was not ready. Front desk lady pushed the voucher in front of me and told me to sign! sign it!. I told her that my card had already been authorized and I would sign once my food was handed to me. She muttered under her voice, then scampered off returning with several orders that were ready. Just rude over all. Once I was ready to sign she hovered watching if there would be a tip. Which there was. Portions for carryout are 1/2 to 3/4 the size of dine in. There was very little actual meat on either of the dishes ordered. Mostly rice and "sauce". I've been here several times over the years and am reminded not to come back for a while. Does'nt show any improvement.

Great service at lunch. The food was hot and tasted good. The interior could be a little cleaner.

Nice quiet Chinese restaurant in the Kingwood Area. A great place to bring the family for Chinese. Prices are food are reasonable. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they keep the drinks top offed well which is a big plus for me.

Restaurant has been in Kingwood for decades. Food is tasty and affordable, and the atmosphere has that old time Chinese restaurant charm. Staff is friendly and efficient.

This is the first time I tried this place and the food is excellent. I am a big fan of Chinese food and it’s not easy to please me, but I loved every bite.

Delicious! The food is very consistent and authentic. Clearly all made in house, the orange chicken was some of the best I’ve had in a long time.We dined in for the first time today, and the ambiance could definitely use some work, but once the food comes you really won’t care about what the place looks like. Seriously, so good!

Good food, not the best I've ever had though. We enjoyed the crab puffs, this isn't the place to get General Chicken if you like it with a crispy breading. The gentleman who sat and served us didn't appear very happy to be there. The woman was very cheerful and nice.

It can be hard to find a restaurant with vegetarian-friendly options as well as flavor, and this definitely hit the spot! For those who are egg-friendly, I highly recommend the Moo Shu vegetables!

Tried my best to try this place out and its a No go. Friendly staff but food was definitely not fresh, very bland, and nothing but the taste of soy in every bite. Chicken very dry with occasional rubbery texture crab puffs were very chewy overly stuffed with sweet cream cheese. Won't be
