Absolutely disappointing. The food at Ernesto’s was bland and completely tasteless — like they forgot seasoning even existed. The chicken was so dry it was almost like chewing cardboard, and not even sauce could save it. As for the sweet tea, it tasted old and had a weird, almost wet foot smell to it. And it wasn’t even remotely sweet. I really tried to find something redeeming about the meal, but I left hungry and frustrated. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Me and my mother-in-law got bean and cheese nachos. We both asked for extra extra extra lettuce. We said cover the nachos with lettuce and said charge us for extra lettuce. We got the size of a quarter amount of lettuce in the center. 3 jalapeño slices could have been on top of the lettuce and you wouldn't have seen the lettuce. Not really a big deal, right? One nachos came with jalapeños and one didn't. Both orders were burnt. I don't send food back. The waiter...
This place has good food but needs to do something about the floor. The entire floor of the seating area is greasy to the point that someone is going to slip, fall, and get hurt. They need to de-grease the entire floor. Also when we went last time there was no music or anything - just silence which made the atmosphere weird.
