Went with the in-laws as they go there every Sunday. The service was really slow and it wasn't that busy for the after church crowd. We also had a problem with a fly that wouldn't go away because the syrup didn't have a cap on it. So I had to put a napkin on it. The food was OK and their prices were good
Although it looks small, it's fairly large inside. I'm guessing at least 15+ tables. It's not fancy, but it was well worth the stop! There were lots of local, repeat customers there. We arrived at 8:25am, and had no trouble parking and getting seated right away. The menu offered plenty of choices. I had the 'Lions playe', and could barely eat the huge stacks of food. My wife got aore standard breakfast, and almost finished that. When two adults can enjoy...
I have been coming to eat here for a while now and haven't had any issues with my food. Customer service and atmosphere is great. Today, was a bit different with the food. I ordered Taquitos Reynosa to go. When I opened my plate the rice was missing (rice is good), the cliantro wasn't as fresh a bit light brown and the charro beans that came with it were made with black beans. 😞 I do like black beans but not in charro beans. I wouldn't eat black charro beans...
