We came to Holman Valley all the way from Katy, Texas. The food and service alone deserve a 10 out of 10, but the atmosphere is a plus. It gives Gruene Hall vibes, but with food.. Miss Wendy gave my father a tour of the dance hall where they occasionally have live music. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back.
Found this place while one a tour of Dance Halls. So impressed with Wendee and her work that came back to eat a few months later. Made a reservation which I highly recommend as it gets very crowded with locals. They had our table ready and we were quickly seated and giving our drink order. We had the special of the night which was 8oz sirloin with 2 sides. Perfectly cooked at med rare and wonderfully seasoned. The squash casserole was delish. We ordered dessert and they were huge...
We called an hour in advance coming from San Marcos, they stayed open late for us. Amazing food great service. Felt like eating at my nanas when I was a kid food tasted just like hers.
