Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I love when Popeyes has the $6 Big Box special. Popeyes used to be my favorite chicken years ago until the new corporation took it over in 2017. I prefer the other Louisiana chicken tenders joint down the street.
That being said when they have the $6 box I'm back at Popeyes. It's a great deal because you can get either three tenders or two pieces of regular chicken with two sides and a biscuit. I've placed several orders from the Popeyes on Spencer Hwy in La Porte several times this week using the app and pick it up in the drive thru.
My food is ready when I get there and everything is included in the bag. Too many places forget to include utensils and napkins but I always receive everything here. The workers at the drive-thru have been very friendly as well, but the most important thing is the chicken, red beans & rice, and biscuit have been super hot (temperature-wise), really tasty and most importantly for me, not overly salty. I also appreciate them filling the sides' bowls well compared to several locations in Pasadena that only fill them half full. Yay!

Not once have I had a bad drive through experience. Food is always good. Drive though employee, don't know her name, but she is always nice.

Ignorant and incompetent staff can never get anything right even after verbally telling them multiple times food is always cold and mediocre I do not recommend this popeyes to anyone terrible service.

Ordered 2 classic chicken sandwiches, they didn't have the courtesy to put pickles on neither of them, never coming back.

Food extra small, dry and pathetic. Popeyes should be ashamed. Where did they get these chickens from? Are they lab grown?

Drive thru order Waited 20 minutes for my wings to be ready

Don't use the drive through, although it appears to be a fast food restaurant it is not. All the cars in the parking lot aren't people eating inside, they are people the window asked to pull around and wait 20+ minutes for their drive thru order

If you look around on google this is the lowest rated popeyes in houston, no easy feat - that took years of crap service to earn. Maybe corporate should pay attention

Sara and her team at 8506 Spencer Hwy in LaPorte, TX are the best in all the Popeyes locations. When Sara and her team are, you will get the freshest food, friendly welcoming and the greatest service. I highly recommend this location out of Houston, Pasadena, Deer Park and LaPorte. Placed my order thru drive thru.
Everything was good until I arrived back to work and saw the most horrible burger ever made!

They have nothing ready is like they want to collect a check only .the don’t have sides made every time for some reason I think they are lazy .. now go to the Popeyes in center street cars wrapped around the block 5 star service there and quick got my sides ..

I have an hour for lunch and spent most of it waiting for my food. had to eat in the car. Hire More Workers!!

Ordered food on the app, arrived at the restaurant and was told their systems were down and to contact support for a refund. Contacted support and was told they can only offer me a store credit for LESS than what I paid for the food, not even a full refund for not providing the product they accepted money for. Had to contact my credit card company for a chargeback. Horrible service, I see why Popeyes has a bad reputation.

LAZY STAFF!!!!
We came by at 9:15pm and asked for a gallon of unsweetened tea. They said they didn’t have enough. They don’t close for awhile and couldn’t put a couple tea bags into a brewing machine. I know for a fact exactly how much effort and time it takes to make it because I do it every day at my job. Horrible horrible service, lazy lazy staff.
