Love this place! My kids and I love to eat here when we visit my mom in La Porte! I love their lunch options, but the friendly staff and desserts keep me coming back! We always get dessert, and sometimes I order some desserts to go! I wish I lived closer so I would not miss out on their seasonal options!

I placed a to-go order online more than 30 minutes in advance, but unfortunately, I still had to wait an additional 15 minutes upon arrival. While the wait was frustrating, the food itself was pretty good. I ordered the mac-n-cheese bites, tater kegs, and the Dizzy Chicken Sandwich. The highlight for me was the Dizzy Chicken Sandwich, thanks to the candied jalapeños, which added a unique and flavorful twist.

I absolutely love Wooden Spoon Kitchen and Bakery! Their menu is full of delicious options, but the Buffalo Shrimp are hands-down my favorite. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice, they’re a must-try! The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always top-notch. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd time, and everything was delicious and fresh once again. Service was awesome. CFS, Mashed potatoes, and their mac and cheese! So good!!! Had to get my coconut custard pie again. Will be going back for sure!

First time trying this place today. It is a small cafe and had a steady flow of people coming in. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious. The CFS is very tender and had a good thickness to it. Had very good flavor. The fried mushrooms were also very good. Lemon pie for dessert was truly amazing. I will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items.

I’m confused by the reviews.

The onion rings were good but the meat in the burger was discolored and it just grossed me out. Pic attached. The jalapeños were just dry… i did not care to taste.

The prices on the menu just don’t match the atmosphere. $17 for a burger & o rings requires, at least, soap in the restroom. not watered down soap that does not even foam… that is GROSS, soap is not expensive it made me wonder what else they cheaped out on.

Service was great!

Just my two cents, and I won’t be coming back.
