Pops Ice Cream and Coffee is hands down one of the best spots in La Vernia! It’s not just an ice cream shop—it’s a clean, fun, and welcoming place where kids, teens, adults, and families all feel right at home. The vibe is always cheerful, and the staff is friendly, which makes every visit that much better.

The menu has something for everyone—tons of tasty ice cream flavors, awesome coffee drinks, and treats that never disappoint. Whether I’m stopping by with my kids for a sweet reward after a long day, grabbing a coffee to-go, or just hanging out to enjoy the atmosphere, Pops never fails to hit the spot.

It’s truly a “sweet spot” in every sense of the word and exactly what this area needed. I love that it’s become a go-to place for us—it’s the kind of spot that makes you smile the second you walk in the door. I love that they made it bigger!! Love the candy, too!! All of it is so good and close by!!

So, the baked goods are reeeaallly yummy. I one hundred percent recommend them - but the drinks can differ. A lot of the time, they're pretty good, but whenever the owners' kids are working, they never taste as good. I just ordered a chai latte with a little bit of cinnamon, but they put soooo much in it.

On the other hand, i tried applying here for a job last year. I interviewed and did the training shift, but i never got a call or anything after. It would've been nice to at least get a call saying that i didn't get it.

I give this 4/5, because again, the food is always good and the drinks are mostly good.

I meet friends here to study the bible, I take my kids here and have ice cream, at times I stop by for a fancy coffee. Buy local support your community. It's nice having a place like this close by

Always great service. Blue bell ice cream. Though I'm sad they don't have the caramel mocha one they had for the longest time. Being lactose intolerant I only got that to make the suffering worth it. Would be really great if they got a 2nd ice cream counter with more options!

They reheat in microwave the dessers and make them bad. Desserts are not close to be good.

We love this place. Owners are friendly, staff are young, trying to do well kids. Their coffees & pastries/ cookies are great. Really...great. Apple pie crust is flaky & buttery, filling has plenty of apples but not painfully sweet. Just so good.

Good caramel macchiato! I really liked the cranberry muffin and my husband really enjoyed his cheesecake bar. Very nice store!!

They have great ice cream. Their banana split is my husband's favorite, and my kids love all the candy and coffee drinks, but boy oh boy is the gluten free coffee cake is the BEST‼️?? Thank you Pops!!

Great little place. Very clean little comfortable place. They have ice creams and all kinds of hot and cold coffees and tea. They also have a few cookies and small pastries. Very family oriented. ?
