“If you are looking for the absolute best chicken shawerma around, look no further than Downtown Shawerma. I stopped by hoping for a good meal, and I was completely blown away by the entire experience from start to finish.
First off, the chicken shawerma is incredible—perfectly seasoned, juicy, packed with flavor, and wrapped to perfection. But what really sets this place apart is the unbelievable value. The portions they serve are absolutely massive, guaranteeing you won't leave hungry, and the prices are surprisingly low for the high quality and sheer amount of food you get. It is incredibly rare to find that kind of balance these days.
Beyond the amazing food, the service is truly top-tier. Running a business takes a massive amount of hard work and daily dedication, and you can instantly tell the owner pours their heart into this restaurant. They are incredibly welcoming and make sure every single customer feels valued the moment they walk through the door. The whole team is fast, attentive, and genuinely happy to be serving you.

“I love the Mediterranean Salad - BUT the salad is big enough for 3 people and you only include a tablespoon of salad dressing! Stop being so cheap! I’m paying $15 for the salad at least include enough dressing!!“

“Didn't intend to eat because of a late breakfast, but we were shopping nearby and the smell of spices drew us in. Its Syrian Mediterranean and the Greek salad there was fresh with sour hints from the banana peppers. The falafel wasn't greasy but fresh and light. Chicken shawarma was buttery and the garlic sauce was so good next time we're ordering a second side of it. Fries weren't even greasy. We plan to return with empty stomachs to try more. The place is small and intimate but for Sunday at 12:30 it wasn't busy. The young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful in deciding what to order.“

“We LOVE this place! They have the best gyro meat in town. Our family recommends the hummus, gyro plate, chicken pita, salmon, falafel and any of the salads! My father in law also raved about the chicken and shrimp sandwich. So many yummy options! The owners are so delightful. This is our go to place for Greek food. Well worth the 30 minute drive to get there from where we live.“

“My boyfriend and I had lunch here recently and it is beyond 5 stars. Completely Amazing, the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. The owner was very kind, and friendly . I ordered the beef Shawarma loved every bite. everything is made to order. The food is fresh, the portions are plentiful. I will go back and bring my family, if you know anyone that love Mediterranean food, I highly recommend you taking them to Galilee Falafel & Shawarma.“
