Horrible place. Bad service, bad servers, ridiculous prices.

Should not be associated with Texas style. BBQ should be only associated with gas station dry food

It's totally my fault. We're going to a gas station but I googled the Texas style BBQ and didn't look at the destination so I've been looking forward to it for the last 200 mi since I crossed in from Roswell New Mexico into Texas. But oh well. Live and learn

The service used to be really good but it's getting bad now.

Update
The queen of Mitch's is back, and she's running things right

Once again if it’s after 5 it might as well be closing time. The grills will be off, And half the stuff will be put up that’s if you can even get somebody to attend to you.other locations are awesome though good food

Mitch’s Texas Style Barbecue in Lamesa is where the brisket reigns supreme—succulent, tender and the BBQ sauce enhanced the flavor. Save room for the banana pudding: velvety, layered with vanilla wafers, and so close to my mom’s recipe it sparks sweet nostalgia. But what truly elevates Mitch’s is its great food along with its staff. Anna and the crew radiate warmth, greeting me by name and memorizing my order. Their genuine hospitality helped turn me into regular patron. Keep up the great service.

We stopped at the Toot n Totem and found this BBQ, not expecting it to be good, but were pleasantly surprised how lean the turkey was and how moist it was. For my husbands BBQ sliced brisket the counter server trimmed the fat then weighed it. My husband liked his very much. We are native Texans and have eaten a lot of BBQ and this was very good. A little pricey but big portions. I like a bit more vinegar taste in my coleslaw but their creamy one was ok. I just don’t like a lot of mayo.
