Love this place. Has an old style feel with 50's music playing. Our family had and old fashioned cheeseburger with fries. Burger had great taste and the fries were homemade. We also had a Sissy's club. This sandwich was big and could feed two. Has turkey and ham loved the homemade chips. The staff was friendly and helpful. The also have ice cream and homemade desserts but we were to full to get some. Will definitely save room next time we stop in.
The server was friendly and very attentive. The food came out quick and was absolutely delicious! My husband got the double bacon cheeseburger, and was cooked perfectly, juicy, and huge!!! The fried pickles tasted heavenly, and the plain ol' grilled cheese tasted like grandma's grilled cheese. The diner vibes are perfect. 11/10 would return if we didn't live out of state!

Large, hand-made hamburgers that are delicious! We were told the fries are hand-made also, and were also good, as were the tater tots. Friendly staff. We drive through LaMesa once or twice a year; we will try to make this a regular stop!
