The burgers were juicy, perfectly cooked, and served in those classic red and white checkered wrappers that I just love. We also tried the loaded fries, which were generous and hit the spot. It is the perfect place to sit outside at a picnic table and enjoy a solid meal. I will definitely be coming back soon.”

“I had heard the chicken fried steak was the bomb here so we ordered the CFS dinner with high hopes. Kinda bummed to say the gravy was on the watery thin side and the steak was overcooked. Not just crunchy, grease scorched. The small serving of fries that comes with the meal were okay and the five bite salad was lettuce, tomato and dressing. The atmosphere was pretty chill and the service was good.”

“Hands Down the best food in Lamesa TX, All other restaurants get old when you eat out as much as I do but not sissy’s, always something different to eat as well as daily specials to choose from, prices are excellent compared to everyone else and the food portions actually fill you up. Every staff member is always amazing and management is always so friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good food and a classic diner experience.”

“OMJesus. Just a chance stop for breakfast on our way leaving West Texas. Got several breakfast burritos, including carne guisada. I’m mad at myself for only ordering one and even more mad at my husband for not turning the car around so I could go back for a dozen more.

“We are from 6 hours away. I was ecstatic to find a coffee shop while we were in Lamesa. I had no idea what to order and they suggested a coffee with coconut and oat milk. Hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. The blueberry bagel was delicious too!”
