“My spouse and I always like to eat at Cajun restaurants when we take road trips. We split the grilled seafood platter and a small cup of gumbo. We normally do not like grilled catfish but this time it was excellent. The small cup of shrimp gumbo actually had six decent sized shrimp in it and was only $3.99. You can’t go wrong when two people eat for $23. We love nice surprises in restaurants and this was truly one of them.“

“Salsa was so flavourful. Highly recommend. The food was delicious and fresh. There are lots of original dishes, too. I love that in a restaurant. Drinks get an A+Parking: My experience, there was very limited parking. This could be different at other times, but I spoke to some other patrons, and it seems to be common during high traffic times. Very worth it.“

“Don't let this little drive thru restaurant's appearance dissuade you, it's a hidden gem. We both got the chicken burrito, but I got mine in a bowl. It was delicious and very fresh. You can even get flavored ice teas, and I highly recommend the coconut. Very reasonably priced. The best part of our experience though was the service. The young lady who served us was absolutely wonderful. Seriously, you should give this place a try. Great food and even better service!“

Acevedo's Burrito • $
312 S Dallas Ave, Lamesa

“Stopped here for lunch on an excursion to Carlsbad Caves from Tulsa, OK. Little hole in the wall, a little run down on the outside and inside, but I find that to be endearing as opposed to off-putting. The prices were a little expensive so I went with the buffet for $10.99. It's a small buffet but the cheese enchiladas and the Carne Guisada burrito were very tasty! The beef enchilada was sadly a little dry. The pico de gallo looked and tasted homemade and very fresh! For dessert was a banana pudding that was perfectly light and delicious. Would definitely recommend and happily stop in at again!“
