“All i gotta say is….. WOW!!!!!! WOW!!! So good!!! I loved it makes me regret not getting 2 more plates!!! The tacos were very delicious!! So were Mulitas! And the esquite was literally the best ive ever had! Full of flavor in every bite. Apart from the food being delicious the customer service was through the roof!! Oh and the churro cheesecake is to die for!!!!“
“My wife and I decided to try this restaurant after seeing a commercial several times. The place was low key but the food was very delicious. My wife had chilies rellenos and I had ranchero tacos. Both plates had very good portion size and the food was very hot. We had never had food come to the table as hot as this. We highly recommend Candilejas and know that no-one will be disappointed.“

“Hands-down, the best Al Pastor tacos, I’ve had in my life! WowThe other tacos we had here were, of course great we had the coconut shrimp and also the “chick”But the pastor is a must have the sauce/marinade was amazingAlso the beef nachos were yummy !!! “Best Mexican food in the city imho. Truly fantastic carnitas, asado and salsa. You can taste the local flavors and effort they put into the food. The green chicken enchiladas is amazing and just the right amount of heat The horchata is also refreshing and delicious. Service is always prompt and friendly. There's plenty of seating inside despite it looking tiny. Give them a shot and ignore the auto shop nearby. Just park in the back if it looks crazy, trust me it's worth it!“

Judging from the other customers, this food truck fits that bill.Always looking to try new things, I opted for mulitas, these corn tortilla sandwiches (not fiber food), filled with tasty meat and cheese were delicious topped with both red and green salsa.The plate comes with a generous serving of three mulitas. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back and try other options, too, assuming I could convince myself not to get the mulitas again.“

“Disappointing to see many 'long time customers' leaving 1 star reviews after ONE 'bad' incident. But that's typical with many of the hate-filled people in this area. My family has been eating here for over 15 years and maybe once in that entire span has the food not been fantastic. That really says a lot if you know anything about Midessa and how awful a lot of the food places are around here. This restuarant is amazing and I am happy to keep tossing money their way in exchange for 10/10 food and kind service. Support your local businesses instead of tearing them down over the smallest of issues. Shame on you.“
“My wife and I have lived in the area for 4 years and just discovered this place a few weeks ago. The food is the best in the Permian as for as flavor and quality. The staff, despite being very busy, are very attentive and helpful. Can't give this place enough stars. Simply great!“
“The BEST in the entire Permian Basin! Don't waste your money anywhere else. The tortillas are perfect and huge. The bacon is thick and stays crispy. The queso asadero taste just like Mexico's. Asado is perfectly spicy and clean! Chef's kiss to the chile verde. Beans made with lard as they should be taste just like the ones your abuelita would make for you. You can't go wrong with anything here. All of their food taste just like if you went to northern Mexico or homemade for those of us lucky enough to have great cooks in our families. Most importantly, the Owner and his family are a true gem of the community! You have to try it.“

“Came from out of town and was looking for a restaurant to have a quick breakfast. Originally stopped at Dennys but their customer service was horrible! Looking for other options, I found that Reyna had excellent reviews and was near by. The parking lot was packed which made me nervous but we entered the restaurant and was immediately greeted and seated. The waitress was very attentive and took our order. The food was delicious!!!!! Serve superb!!! Thank you so much for making our day. We’ll be back!“

“We had been planning on coming here for some time and were finally able to get there today and were not disappointed. Christy and her family were very welcoming and took good care of us.The salsa is the best I've had in years and is the best in town. I even bought some to take home.I don't eat queso, but my wife and daughter say it is very good.I had the hamburger steak and onions today. It was good but I prefer a more brown gravy.My wife had tacos and my daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Both were pleased.This is a family owned and operated restaurant, so please go when you are not in a rush. They are all very busy and believe me the wait is worth it!Highly recommend!“
“I went to Martha's with the company that I work for. It was pretty early in the morning. I ordered the beef enchiladas with red sauce topped with an egg. The food was excellent. I liked the old fashioned chairs and tables. Service was good, we had a large party so naturally it took a minute to get a coke after my coffee was gone. Salsa was good ...authentic and home made. If I lived in Midland I'd go there pretty often.“

We were delighted by this restaurant that had been highly recommended by a friend who has visited practically every Mexican restaurant in town. We were greeted warmly by the owner, Maricella. Our drinks were brought out promptly along with fresh tortilla chips and spicy homemade salsa. All our dishes were freshly prepared and expertly seasoned.We mentioned that one of the people in our party was celebrating a birthday and the restaurant brought her a delicious complimentary piece of pie at the end of the meal. Maricella and a couple of her staff came by the table banging on drums and a tambourine, singing Feliz Cumpleanos. They were very charming. Lovely owner, great food. Highly recommend!“

I don't usually eat spicy of food but everything was soooooo good, I ate it alllllllll My face was on fire (Im a whetta this way lol) and I kept shoveling it in as fast as I could..... it was so tasty lol .... “Clean place with nice staff. The breakfast burritos are made fresh tortillas with your choice of filling for about three bucks. Medium size burritos and some pretty good salsa, it's unique. Good place for breakfast. Oh and the queso fresca with chorizo is delicious on warm corn tortillas.“

“I have had 10 different dishes here and none have been disappointing. Fast service and great food is hard to find in spades in Midland, but Cancun has it here. They also have some awesome Mexican Martini's. My favorite salsa in town and the jalapenos in soy are great. Only drawback is it's very loud with the high ceilings. Easily overlooked for as good the food and service are. Great walk to spot downtown for lunch.“

“Actually have eaten here a few times recently and it was pretty good both times. It's close to where I stay so I just walk in and order to go. It was a little hard ordering because the girl at the front no speak english and had to get someone else to come over and take my order. Once ordered the steak fajitas and once had the fish and shrimp combo fajitas. The steak was good, the shrimp was good but the fish was dry and bland, just a cheap piece of talipia. Their dip is a little different and pretty hot. Decent food and resonably priced but there is a lot of really good Mexican restaurants in Midland, so it's kinda hard to justify going there any more and I would only rate them a 6.5 out of 10.“

Both had authentic, great flavors! NOT TEXMEX!You won't be sorry if you traverse the construction area down the frontage road to get there. If it looks like it's closed, look for the "OPEN" sign. We have a 41ft 5th wheel, and we were able to get there and park in the dirt lot. Was an easy traverse around construction back onto the highway.The restrooms were clean despite that sign! ?Parking: Dirt lot ... parking is open“
