“Ate there during the rain , chicken fried steak most tender we ever had, baked potatoes were loaded and hot. Patrons were so friendly and everyone smiling. When we left it was pouring rain and a customer insisted he get our car and pull into the alley which was a little closer while our waiter appeared with a very large umbrella and walked us to our car. Can that kind of food and service be beat? Nope.“

“I can not say enough about this little gem in downtown Midland!! I was driving around trying to find the restaurant and for some reason I kept passing it, so instead of driving around I pulled over and call Tall City Bistro and when Sergio answered the phone he asked me where I was and he said for me to stay where I was and he would come to me! So here he comes to my car window and tells me where to park and then proceeds to wait for me to cross the street and then walks with me to the restaurant! Talk about service…. Well it didn’t stop there! We were seated and from there everything we had ordered came out and was DELICIOUS 😋. Then the owner comes to our table and informs us that on Saturday they have free mimosas! What a nice treat! So I give @tallcitybistro 10🌟’s out of 5! We will definitely be back!“

“Always good food, always polite staff and clean!“

“The BEST sushi in midland, with the BEST service. We got 4 different rolls and each one was delicious. Our waitress was SO sweet, fast, and double checked that everything was right! The Chef was amazing, meticulous, and thoughtful!! I asked for no avocado in my roll & everything he used to prepare my roll was done in case there was an avocado allergy, separate utensils without even asking! 10/10 you do not see thoughtfulness and care in service like that often! You can tell they are using great ingredients and great fish!“

“Our PTA inquired about ordering pizzas for our teacher appreciation luncheon & Alfonso went above and beyond for us! He was easy to communicate with, very flexible and on time! We were having trouble finding places that could accommodate our lunch time, but he assured us he could have everything delivered by 10:30 that morning and he was right on time! Michael and Anna donated vouchers and coupons for all of our staff! Thank you again for everything! -Bowie Fine Arts PTA“

“I was recommended to the HEB BBQ by local hotel and it did not disappoint! The service from Rhonda at the front counter was fantastic and she laid out exactly what I should get as someone who is not from Texas. The prices were also so much better than other spots around town. I look forward to returning in the future and seeing my new friend Rhonda!!“

“Good spring rolls, no rips and well fried. Real chicken in the sweet and sour and perfectly cooked rice for the quality. Sweet and sour I’m guessing is house made and like I have never seen before. Tastes good.

“I LOVE OSCARS! I used to go there everyday for lunch when I went to high school! Oscar is the sweetest man ever. I highly recommend this spot i literally get cravings for their burritos all the time! 🩷“

“This is the first time ordering from here. We made the order by DoorDash so I can’t evaluate the atmosphere.
We did an orders of General Tao’s chicken, deluxe Lo Mein noodles, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls.
This was amazing!
The General Tao was hot, loaded with vegetables, and peppers. The sauce was perfect!
I’m picky about my noodles, however, in this case, these were some of the best that I’ve eaten in a very long time.
My wife is the fried rice aficionado. According to her, this was the best she’s ever had.
The egg rolls were perfect. They were light and crispy, I needed to order more.
Overall, we will be going back. I highly recommend this place for your Chinese food!“
