7 Best Sushi Bars in Midland

“Had lunch today and it was so good. Elegant, flavor on point and excelent service.... Not to mention very reasonably priced. Cant wait to go back!“

“If you’re looking for the absolute best Japanese and Korean food in the Permian Basin, Tokyo 1 in Midland, TX is an absolute must-visit.

They’ve completely ruined sashimi anywhere else for me! Their tuna sashimi is incredibly fresh, thick-cut, and served with a signature homemade Korean sauce that takes it to another level entirely. You also have to order the spicy beef fried rice—it is phenomenal and easily the best in West Texas.

Beyond the amazing Asian cuisine, the owners are absolutely incredible. They treat you like family the second you walk through the door, and being a regular here feels like having a second home. Unbeatable quality, authentic flavors, and the warmest hospitality in town. Highly recommend!“

“The BEST sushi in midland, with the BEST service. We got 4 different rolls and each one was delicious. Our waitress was SO sweet, fast, and double checked that everything was right! The Chef was amazing, meticulous, and thoughtful!! I asked for no avocado in my roll & everything he used to prepare my roll was done in case there was an avocado allergy, separate utensils without even asking! 10/10 you do not see thoughtfulness and care in service like that often! You can tell they are using great ingredients and great fish!“

“Ate here yesterday for lunch. Food was delicious and alot better priced than other hibachi places. Server was very friendly and attentive, will be back for sure!!“

“absolutely love their food and customer service!“

“We’ve really enjoyed eating at Sapporo’s over the years. The sushi is fantastic, and the food quality has always been consistently good in our experience. My favorites are the Green Dragon Roll and the Green Forest Roll. My wife and kids love the Midland Roll and the chicken fried rice. We’ve both dined in and ordered takeout. The service when dining in can be a little slow at times, but the food has always been worth the wait. One thing that really stood out today was a small act of kindness. When I picked up our order, they included a complimentary Sprite for my kids because it was so hot outside. I never asked for it, but it absolutely made my kids’ day. It’s those thoughtful little gestures that leave a lasting impression. If you’re looking for consistently good sushi and a restaurant that genuinely cares about its customers, Sapporo’s is definitely worth a visit.“
