“When moving to Midland The Blue Door was immediately recommended as the perfect neighborhood bar. Absolutely excellent vibes, clean, and a covered patio with fans. The drink menu is spectacular, lots of thought goes into curating seasonal flavors and providing consistency. The staff is always welcoming and makes everyone comfortable, so happy we found The Blue Door!“

I love her energy, presence, and ability to remember all my cocktail favorites and her drinks are always spot on when it comes to her mixology. “Stopped by Saturday with some and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Solid prices and good bar type food. Our bartender (Chalena) was awesome though. Super friendly and had a great vibe going especially for it being the middle of the day. Will definitely be coming back.“

“This place was so good! If you’re looking for some good breakfast or brunch this is the place!! Our waitress was so polite and friendly! You’re going to have to make a few visits to try the rest of their menu because you’ll probably love your food just as much as I did! Not only that, your wallet will love this place just as much as your stomach will! I personally got the fat stack pancakes, and I will say those are the best pancakes I’ve ever had. And the bacon strips I got were literally the best ever! I will definitely say this is a great place to come eat with your family and friends!“
“Hot Shots is definitely a dive bar, but if you’re like me, that’s what you are looking for sometimes. They got a few pool tables and it’s a smoking environment. Like I said, pure dive bar. If you’re a smoker, you’ll probably enjoy this bar. If not, expect to leave smelling like an ash tray. The only reason I took a star off is because the service there is super slow. Talking to some regulars there, it seems to be a normal thing to expect.“

“Tourist here. First time visit. Came in during happy hour. Not busy, because early in the day, but fun vibes here. Feels like I stepped into my imaginary uncles “party” basement in the 80’s. That’s good. And fun! Decent prices and attentive staff. Especially fun vibes because they have fun thematic Christmas lights up. I can see the appeal of this place. Fun little dive bar. Come with some friends and check it out.“

“I love this spot! The micheladas are tasty and some of the best priced in west Texas! The food is delicious with lots of menu items and meats to choose from. The atmosphere is wonderful and the waitresses are lovely. I enjoy this location and will stop by whenever I am in the Midland area.“

“Ate there during the rain , chicken fried steak most tender we ever had, baked potatoes were loaded and hot. Patrons were so friendly and everyone smiling. When we left it was pouring rain and a customer insisted he get our car and pull into the alley which was a little closer while our waiter appeared with a very large umbrella and walked us to our car. Can that kind of food and service be beat? Nope.“

“The food was amazing! These service was so great and friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. My kids were being a little loud but nobody gave me dirty looks, which I appreciated immensely. So I would definitely say this place is family friendly! Would love to go again and try more food. The portions are large and very reasonably priced.“

“The servers were really nice and really good at their job! The food was a bit expensive but I guess that’s to be expected… it was really good though would buy it again haha. Very fun!! We went for the free crawfish boil and we will be back next year for sure“

“Great wait staff and fair prices. Pool tables were in good shape and they had great selection of music.on the juke box. The only downside was it smelt like cigarette smoke. I'm not use to walking into a bar/ billiards where you can smoke.“
“Love the music it's just not as fun if you're not 21 they allow 18 to 20 year olds but it's not as fun as being 21 because they do serve alcohol they do have non-alcoholic drinks such as sodas and you can ask for a Shirley Temple and it's just like I said not as fun if you're not 21“
