“Hot Shots is definitely a dive bar, but if you’re like me, that’s what you are looking for sometimes. They got a few pool tables and it’s a smoking environment. Like I said, pure dive bar. If you’re a smoker, you’ll probably enjoy this bar. If not, expect to leave smelling like an ash tray. The only reason I took a star off is because the service there is super slow. Talking to some regulars there, it seems to be a normal thing to expect.“

“Tourist here. First time visit. Came in during happy hour. Not busy, because early in the day, but fun vibes here. Feels like I stepped into my imaginary uncles “party” basement in the 80’s. That’s good. And fun! Decent prices and attentive staff. Especially fun vibes because they have fun thematic Christmas lights up. I can see the appeal of this place. Fun little dive bar. “Ate there during the rain , chicken fried steak most tender we ever had, baked potatoes were loaded and hot. Patrons were so friendly and everyone smiling. When we left it was pouring rain and a customer insisted he get our car and pull into the alley which was a little closer while our waiter appeared with a very large umbrella and walked us to our car. Can that kind of food and service be beat? Nope.“

My kids were being a little loud but nobody gave me dirty looks, which I appreciated immensely. So I would definitely say this place is family friendly! Would love to go again and try more food. “Love the music it's just not as fun if you're not 21 they allow 18 to 20 year olds but it's not as fun as being 21 because they do serve alcohol they do have non-alcoholic drinks such as sodas and you can ask for a Shirley Temple and it's just like I said not as fun if you're not 21“

“It has been a while since I have been to the Chili's in Midland, due to a bad experience. My grandson was in town and wanted Chili's before we went to the movies. I am glad we went! The service was amazing and the food was great! We all enjoyed our meal. It was quick, delicious, and enjoyable!“
