“First time visitor. The Hangar Lounge is jointly managed by Amy and Aaron; owned by (?) who is a separate entity from the hotel owner. I spent a few hours here, drinking and eating Indian food from the place next door and observing. The two co-managers treat this establishment like their child. They know many of the patrons by name. People fly in, come here for a drink on their way to other places, and ... catch up with each other. This is the kind of bar I'd want to drink at every Friday night, if I were to go drinking on Friday nights, as opposed to a random Wednesday. They have an open mic, Friday night bands and karaoke apparently (I wasn't there for this, its Wednesday), but the absolute home feeling of this place is memorable. I'll be back.“

“Went to Sunday Brunch and it was amazing. Started out with complimentary biscuits with butter and jelly. I had a Caramel Apple Bellini and it just tastes like Fall. Then had the Adult Breakfast Charcuterie Board and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back again!“

“When moving to Midland The Blue Door was immediately recommended as the perfect neighborhood bar. Absolutely excellent vibes, clean, and a covered patio with fans. The drink menu is spectacular, lots of thought goes into curating seasonal flavors and providing consistency. “Visting downtown Midland in July, found this nice gem, went in for drinks to cool down from hot sun, Kitchen manager (Tommy) suggested they had some good eats, ask him to suggest a few things and he was right, enjoyed the selections, ended staying longer, wait staff took care of us very attentive and polite.“

“We’ve really enjoyed eating at Sapporo’s over the years. The sushi is fantastic, and the food quality has always been consistently good in our experience. My favorites are the Green Dragon Roll and the Green Forest Roll. My wife and kids love the Midland Roll and the chicken fried rice. We’ve both dined in and ordered takeout. The service when dining in can be a little slow at times, but the food has always been worth the wait. One thing that really stood out today was a small act of kindness. When I picked up our order, they included a complimentary Sprite for my kids because it was so hot outside. I never asked for it, but it absolutely made my kids’ day. It’s those thoughtful little gestures that leave a lasting impression. If you’re looking for consistently good sushi and a restaurant that genuinely cares about its customers, Sapporo’s is definitely worth a visit.“
