“Big Chilito Plate and Beef Fajita Quesadillas. We moved to Lubbock a year ago and just stumbled on this place today.Food was excellent. Staff friendly. Place is oddly laid-out. The neg reviews about not being served seem very possible because you seat yourself and it isn’t obvious who has which tables. They should seat people. Also, if i’m sitting somewhere that serves large portions of delicious, modestly priced food, I would grab a waiter, not walk out and trash the review.“
“Best Mexican food in town! The people are great and they are quick for dine in or carry out. Their charro beans are REAL charro beans. Everything I've had there has been delicious! I'll go out of my way to eat there.Comida mexicana verdadera. Todo está bien rico! Gracias por traer comida auténtica a Lubbock!“
“I came with my husband for dinner and was not disappointed. The service was fabulous. Emily was amazing. She took care of all our needs, we didn't have to ask for anything. She had the best food and drink recommendations, (try the mushrooms) and she was reassuring when I told her I was emo because my daughter was graduating. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!“
“I absolutely love this place!!! Had some really bad queso and beef from a place by my new house last night so tonight I drove over n got some real queso and beef!!! The difference is astronomical!!! My husband says it’s magical lol!Wheelchair accessibility: It has a wheelchair ramp“
“Best Burritos, Tacos and Chips and Salsa.Highly Recommend. Service was ExcellentDefinitely coming back. We were shopping in Lubbock. So glad we from this Restaurant.Parking: Plenty of space on both sides of Building. “This was my first time going to this establishment. I ordered the veggie fajitas with beef and let me tell you….it was amazingly delicious! It had onions, bell peppers, squash, carrots and we added jalapeños. This dish was so full of flavor! The salsa was an even balance of spice and the chips were nice and crisp. The food came out fast and our server, KJ served a party of fifteen without any hiccups. I will definitely return! You can also get cocktails while you wait to be seated.Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair friendly and disabled friendly as they have an elevator.“
“$38 for two? Yes please ? First off, the rice was fully cooked & tasted great (a lot of places tend to have some hard pieces, or it’s over cooked & soggy), $14 asada was delicious, $16 fajitas were amazing & it didn’t break the bank! Server was attentive, my glass was never empty. Will definitely come back and try their quesadillas next time.“
“An amazing experience! No wait in line. Booth was comfortable. Waitress was a delight! She checked on us several times. Food was delicious and served hot. Very good servings. Had to take a box home for leftovers. We each had a frozen large margarita with salt. Very, very good! Plenty of tequila.?“
“After much deliberation, we ordered The Grande. This consists of a cheese stuffed poblano, cheese, chicken and beef enchiladas, a tamale, a crispy taco and rice & beans. There is also a dollop of guacamole. This is a great dish if you can't decide on one or two items, or if you want guaranteed leftovers. Outside of the rice being a little dry, everything was hot and flavorful. I can also recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp, even though we didn't get them this time. We sat in the bar section but it wasn't too loud as some can be, and our server was prompt and helpful.“
“OMG THE BEST BURRITOS EVER! Definitely go here on my leg days before hitting the gym in the morning! The women are also nice and they get the food to you super fast. The food is always 100% to.!!! And affordable definitely recommend this place!!!“
“If you like Piña Coladas!! Although we weren't caught in the rain, it was pretty cold. Hanging out with friends from out of town, so we ordered chips and salsa along with Piña Coladas and a Blue Hawaiian. The Piña Colada was soooo good, I ordered another ?Parking: The parking lot is pretty huge, so we found a parking spot right away.“
“My experience at Joel's restaurant is great every time we go in there we're greeted and sit it down the food is excellent I will recommend Joel's restaurant to all of my family and friends people known and unknown even to my enemies you want good food forget all these big fancy restaurants Joel's not about all that Joel's restaurant is about serving great food and we will continue going there“
“If you’re looking for real Mexican food, this is the place. Delicious food and great service. Robert is a great guy and super down to earth. Always takes good care of us and the salsa is spicy and tamales are on point. Coming back for that Carne Guisada!! lol“
“Our waitress was rather slow and kept forgetting to bring things like coffee. My aunt's order sat in the window too long and was cold when she finally received it. They were not that busy until we were finished eating so I don't know what the problem was. Maybe she was fairly new.“
“Rosa's Cafe tortillas factory is a very large restaurant, beautiful, tidy, its decoration escapes the imagination with its colorful chairs and wooden tables and talabera tiles, its beautiful walls decorated with good taste, you receive a quiet and pleasant atmosphere with its background music, its cleanliness and its climate in general, I ordered some eggs rancheros and I was surprised because apparently here they are different from all the other places I have visited, but despite everything I liked the delicious combination of chorizo, potatoes, scrambled egg etc, the food had good flavor and was fresh, their prices are the best, I will definitely return for more options.Parking: Enough space for everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough space inside the restaurant and several spaces outside in the parking lot“
“Picoso’s is a family friendly establishment that comes highly recommended by several family members and friends. We started off with the ‘Chilton Flight’, all four drinks were phenomenal! Not to mention they have a wide variety of tasty meals to choose from! Definitely stop by when you’re in the area!Parking: The parking lot is easy to get in and out of.“
“First time trying out Fajitas Pete’s today! I came in around 1pm today and the guy that was at the register helped me out. The service was very quick and the food was amazing. 10/10!!! I ordered the little familia meal with two orders of sopapillas. We will def be coming back for round 2. We really loved the salsa!! ??“
“I've been going to their snow cone stand in Slaton Tx since I was younger. Loved seeing there grandfather back then. Love their cherry lime ice there the best. So glad they brought their business to Lubbock. Spreading the word. May God bless this family annuall abundantly.“
“Drinks and food are great! Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu! Cameron was by far one of the best servers we’ve ever had, very attentive, gave great recommendations, and was super kind! Definitely will be eating here again!“
“Small Mexican Style eaterie with decor that screams refreshment. No wait service as you order at the counter then seat yourself. I ordered the Torta Cubana and was very pleased. The Telera bread was excellent and held together as I devoured the huge sandwich with spiced pork meat, shredded lettuce, guacamole, pickled peppers, cheese and other surprises. Paired with a strawberry fresca drink that made a very refreshing lunch on a hot summer day.“
“What a great find ! Chips and hot sauce are oh so good ! The stacked enchiladas did not disappoint! Neither did the chicken enchiladas ! The guacamole was also very good ! It's a great menu with lots to choose from ! We will be back to keep trying the items ! They all sound so good ! The atmosphere is nice and the service was good both times this week !“
“We ate here for lunch, never been here, so my evaluation was ok to try the food is good the service is very good and they are very attentive, professional and friendly. I had the carne guisada, and my wife had the huevos rancheros. Bathrooms are clean as well as the dining area. The salsa is good but thin and kinda watery. The flour tortillas are fresh, so they have to be eaten pretty quickly. Otherwise, they get hard on the edges. Very good prices for the amount of food you get. It's worth a try, many good choices of food. The rice is ok, the beans are good but the carne guisada is great, so tender.“
“Was with some friends that had been here before. Pretty unique place. Careful when you order the taco salad, it's a bit different from what you are probably used to. The food was good, service was pretty good as well. Nice place to go.“
“So my experience may be alittle unique. I used to live in utah, and we have costa vidas all over. We moved to Oklahoma, and unfortunately discovered that costa doesn't exist there! I'm a pilot, and own a small airplane. So I decided to fly to Texas to surprise with wife with costa (she loves it, and talks about how much she missed it). When I arrived the costa crew was so kind! I asked if the could separate the hot and cold ingredients, because I had to fly back to Oklahoma with them. They were very attentive, kind, and willing to help! Thank you to the crew of this costa vida!5 stars for sure!“
“I ordered the enchiladas potosinas and maaaan. They were delicious!! Authentic Mexican food, good salsa, spicy enough. I would definitely come back to this place. Delicious delicious delicious! My friend got the mar y Tierra plate and it looked so good too!! It comes with a separate cup of ceviche too! This place is a gem ?“
“When you buy tacos on taco tuesday togo. They give you salsa. Not friday night with purchase of fajita plates? Also it be nice to have some togo cutlery. Just saying. Please correct and get on to your night managers and crew. Customer service will get your sales up. Dont settle for less!“
“Excellent everything here today. The chips were thin, warm and crispy. The salsa tasted wonderful. The queso was so good, best I have ever had. Service was prompt and attentive. The Fajitas were perfect, the flavor and seasoning of the meat and veggies were a party in my mouth, just right amount of grill time, not to crunchy or soggy. And folks can mess up rice and beans....but not these folks.“
“The experience was fantastic!!Ordered from the Street Taco menu and they were perfect, love the corn tortillas. The service personnel are just great. They checked on us at the perfect time were extremely friendly.Definitely on my Tex-Mex place list when I get to Lubbock.“
“I got a potato, egg and cheese burrito and it was fantastic. It wasn't bland or over seasoned. The tortillas were perfect. The only down side is since they're made at order and not pre made it takes a little bit. I recommend calling your order in.“
“As I stepped into Roberto's Taco Shop, a rush of nostalgia flooded my senses. The aroma of sizzling meat and spices instantly transported me back to my Tia's kitchen from my childhood. It was as if I had stumbled upon a culinary time machine, promising to whisk me away to cherished memories of family gatherings and comforting flavors, especially with their burritos!“
“Omg! Lubbock Texas this is the place to come! We had the barbacoa and it was neither greasy nor dry. The salsa had a nice kick to it. Felt like we were eating a home-cooked meal made by our mothers. My husband had Carne guisada and let me tell you, it was so darn good. The rice wow! Better than mine. This is the real deal.. Extremely authentic!! The father/owner does all the cooking! Must come out and not only that support our Local community! Yes, I've been eating it. Lol“
“My husband and I came from Fort Worth Texas to visit Lubbock. We wanted to eat some elotes in a glass and through Google we arrived here at Súper Elote ? The place is small but clean and pleasant, in addition to Elotes they sell other Mexican foods?? we ordered some Quesadillas from Huitlacoche to try them since where we live they don't sell them, They were delicious, they are the best quesadillas I have ever eaten in my entire life ? and the Elotes in a glass were delicious!!! The prices are reasonable and the customer service is excellent, without hesitation we will return to try the cakes, tacos and pambazos ?? I give them their well-deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!“
“First time eating there. The service was good and the food was delicious. Will be returning. Only complaint is that it was a little warm inside.Parking: No handicap parking spaces that we could find.Wheelchair accessibility: Was easy to get in and out of restaurant with plenty of space to move around inside, but like I said couldn't locate handicap parking spaces.“
“The food is delicious. This restaurant is clean and it smells clean. I meet up with girlfriends here to vent over Mexican food. It heals me every time. The menudo is fantastic. The enchiladas are delicious. Their breakfast burritos are worth every penny. I WOULD recommend this restaurant.“
“This was my first time eating here and I would go back. I went at 11 a.m on a Friday and it was empty but around 12 p.m it got packed pretty quickly. I had the chuychanga, it was really filling. I also tried the churro bites with caramel sauce , they were so good. The only thing negative was the menus were about impossible to read because they were so faded.“
“Me and my family always go here if we have Mexican food. The wait staff is always super nice, always quick with everything. The food is always great and out quick. And for what you get, the prices are very reasonable!! I always recommend this place and I will probably be back in the next few weekends with my family.“
“I usually don't try new places or even new things off of a new menu because it ALWAYS leads to disappointment, BUT I tried a new place (for a birthday party) and a new item I would've never tried and I was definitely NOT DISAPPOINTED!! I'm not a seafood person, but everything on the menu looked incredible (they actually had pics to look at), and I got the #42 Texas Delight. It comes with grilled chicken, fajita, and shrimp on top of rice, with bell peppers and onions, with queso. It was an amazing dish for something new and that I would never try. I would definitely recommend this place to try at least once, because after that you will continue coming. I actually prefer this place over Jaliscos, but that's my opinion. The service seemed fast as well. We had a big group of at least 20 and got all of our food in a timely manner.“
“We had dinner here on 4/11 around 5:30. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. The chips were nice and crisp, and the salsa was flavorful and had some spice to it. We had to try the guacamole deluxe. It was fantastic. The arrachera meat was cooked beautifully and paired perfectly with the creamy guacamole when atop a crispy pork rind. So good! I also tried the house margarita. It tasted like chemicals in my opinion, and I would not recommend it. But our meal was so delicious, that I will not let the drink bring down my rating. For my entree, I got the Pechuga Poblana, which was wonderfully cooked, fantastically seasoned, and covered in bacon and cheese! Very delicious. My wife got the chicken tortilla soup, which had a rich broth and was not too salty which can be the case with soups. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a good time.“
“I am fairly new to Lubbock. It was my first time visiting this establishment today. Walking in I was greeted by Lee who was exceptionally nice and helped me with my order. I ordered the carnitas nachos. They were delicious! The chips were light and crispy and the white queso bomb! The meat had the right amount of seasoning and very tender. Ask for the additional guacamole. It’s a must. Fresh avocados. My coworker had the chicken salad and loved it! Lee informed me breakfast is also amazing. I will for sure be going back!“
“I ordered some catering on a relatively short notice (ordered on Tuesday to pick up on Thursday). I wanted to pick up the order at 11:30am yesterday, but the website would only let me set the pick up time for noon. I reached out to the location via phone, and the manager was very accommodating and kept my information written down so he'd know to have my order ready early. I got to Torchy's around 11:20 on Thursday, and the order was already ready! The manager even carried the order to my vehicle, which I can greatly appreciate being heavily pregnant. Not long after, I needed to put in additional orders for vegetarian options (to no fault of Torchy's, I just didn't know we had vegetarians). They were very quick to get the orders made and I was back at the office in no time! The staff was very caring and made sure everything went perfectly. I'll make sure to order more in the future, though; the food was so delicious it went super quickly!Dietary restrictions: The website is very clear about whether the menu items contain common allergens/sensitive foods.“
“Came in for breakfast (which is all day!) and was welcomed with very friendly staff members who seemed to enjoy their jobs very much! Shout out to Lizzie and (I think) Lexi for giving us the run down since it was our first time and being so so so sweet to us! Salsa was great and spicy! Homemade tortillas were BOMB and HUGE! Their food tasted just like how it tastes at home: fresh and authentic! Definitely gonna have to come back and check out lunch too!“
“My favorite restaurant for authentic Mexican food in Lubbock; their seafood dishes are out of this world! This eatery is like walking into a beachside, complete with lovely nautical decór. It's lovely to look around and see the soothing blues and weathered beams ?Highly recommend for Oaxacan, Jaliscan, and other Mexican regional dishes! Everything is delicious!“
“I come here all of the time and they have never been rude at all... always amazing service. Even when they are busy they are quick and my orders are always accurate and good. I just wish they had a different caso... but that's totally fine if everything else is ? ?“
“Our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.10 years since our first visit, consistent prices, excellence in service, and even better food over the past 10 years. Hands down, our family favorite go-to for any meal. Breakfast all day!!!“
“2 seperate meals was supposed to come with guacamole each... they forgot it. When asking for it, they didn't seem to understand and then combined the two into one container.I don't want to have to split it with the other person, so had to ask for another one. Training is needed and maybe give one of the employees the job of verifying meals before releasing to costumers?“
“Born and raised in Lubbock, but had to move to Corpus Christi back in 2015. Moved back to Lubbock about a month ago, and Rosa's was the first place we stopped. OMG! I didn't even realize how much I missed Taco Tuesdays! Lol! We've been twice a week since getting back, and every time, the food is fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. On top of that, they're fast! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes, and they usually have my order ready by the time I make it to the window. Overall, Rosa's is one of our family favorites.“
“I have really come to like this place for a quick fresh mexican fast food that is affordable and tasty. My favorite so far is the chicken quesadilla. The pico is fresh and the salsa is great as well. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.“
“Came for breakfast with my dad. Love the food, and the atmosphere is awesome. The menudo is the best I've had. My dad usually complains, but he actually liked this place. Breakfast burritos are so good. They sell mugs, so ended up buying two really cool ones. Highly recommended!“
