It is fast food tacos. Similar to a few of the other chains that have opened up in the area. Food is average and drinks are average. For the atmosphere, their TVs are small and they don’t have the TV sound on for Tech games. It is not really a location to watch a sports game.
We came here on a road trip through Lubbock en route to NM. We have eaten at a number of different Torchy's restaurants, both in Austin and DFW. Food quality here was subpar. Neither I nor my teenage son ( who eats everything!) could eat our food after looking at it.But service was great, and atmosphere was Good.

Ordered a few minutes ahead and the food was warm and fresh as soon as I got there. The food holds up to the same quality and taste everytime I go. The baja shrimp and crossroad tacos are phenomenal!
