It is fast food tacos. Similar to a few of the other chains that have opened up in the area. Food is average and drinks are average. For the atmosphere, their TVs are small and they don’t have the TV sound on for Tech games. It is not really a location to watch a sports game.

We came here on a road trip through Lubbock en route to NM. We have eaten at a number of different Torchy's restaurants, both in Austin and DFW. Food quality here was subpar. Neither I nor my teenage son ( who eats everything!) could eat our food after looking at it.But service was great, and atmosphere was Good.

Terrible experience, the manager zane was very dismissive of the issues I had. Didn’t seem like he wanted to help. The server that took out my tacos was very rude and he just slammed tacos down on our table. Employees don’t seem like they wanna be there.. My “fried” avocado was half covered in breading and soggy. Not a single thing ordered here was worth the money spent. Guacamole tasted 4 days old, and the chips weren’t even cooked… Also the woman’s restroom had no toilet paper… what’s up with that? I’ve had much better experiences at the other Torchys tacos in lubbock at west end. Will not be coming back to this location.

Used to be 5 stars, but I've repeatedly ordered the Green Chile Pork Missionary style (even let a manager know the issue), and every time, there's a wet corn tortilla. No crispy corn tortilla, which is the entire point of a second taco shell. Personally, I am very frustrated, and I guess I will give up on ordering my favorite taco because it can not be made correctly.
I ordered some catering on a relatively short notice (ordered on Tuesday to pick up on Thursday). I wanted to pick up the order at 11:30am yesterday, but the website would only let me set the pick up time for noon. I reached out to the location via phone, and the manager was very accommodating and kept my information written down so he'd know to have my order ready early. I got to Torchy's around 11:20 on Thursday, and the order was already ready! The manager even carried the order to my vehicle, which I can greatly appreciate being heavily pregnant. Not long after, I needed to put in additional orders for vegetarian options (to no fault of Torchy's, I just didn't know we had vegetarians). They were very quick to get the orders made and I was back at the office in no time! The staff was very caring and made sure everything went perfectly. I'll make sure to order more in the future, though; the food was so delicious it went super quickly!Dietary restrictions: The website is very clear about whether the menu items contain common allergens/sensitive foods.
