Just ordered, the food is priced just how every other restaurant needs to be priced. So affordable, the service is very considerate and soft spoken. And the vibe is quiet with some Mexican music and not much else but to sit and enjoy your time. Even if the food is terrible this place is still chill ash😂 but I bet the food will be fire

Picantes Mexican is a nice clean place with food that is always tasty and amazingly cheap. The service can vary. Some guests had exceptional service, with staff making them feel at home, keeping drinks full, and bringing a small plate and spoon for an infant. Others noted the waitress was nice but got lost in the kitchen, leaving a table with no refills or follow up. The food is always fresh and hot. Popular meals include the bacon egg and potato burrito, which has good portion and flavorful hot sauce, and the chicken burrito with beans and rice, which is more than one person can eat. For families, it is menudo time, and Picantes offers refills for the unlimited menudo, though one guest was disappointed when only one bowl was brought. They do a lot of morning take out service and have breakfast available all day. No alcohol is served, and the parking lot is small.
