NEW OWNERS ARE HITTING A HOME RUN..... Formerly Firehouse BBQ , Young's is a major upgrade.....while the previous incarnation was almost inedible, Young's offers above average brisket on most days and way above average on some.....the sides and desserts appear house-made and are fresh and tasty....sauce is unique, peppery and tangy....but the real winner is the chicken dinner.....as fall-off-the-bone good as I've ever had in over 65 years of cue eatin'.....

This place is a hidden gem! These guys know what they’re doing. The drive thru service was fast, only took 4 minutes to get my food. The brisket was great with a peppery BBQ sauce. And the pulled pork burrito and the Cajun turkey were phenomenal! I liked that the slaw was clean and not full of mayo. And the cobbler... peach cobbler is my favorite dessert of all time so I am a connoisseur. That might have been the best I’ve had (that wasn’t made by my family). Definitely in the hall of fame!

Just opened under new owners during a hardship time for our country. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great job everyone!! Cheers to your success!!!

Man... Horrible experience. Not big on trashing places but recommend they lose their serving lady. Not cool

Their brisket is fair, but not good. For the price, it is not a place I can recommend. For the price, I would expect something better than paper plates, plastic utensils, and table service.

Oh wow. Some of the worst (if not the worst) BBQ we've ever had. We live in the area and drive by here all the time so decided to try. Food was dry and bland. Portions were small. Corn was soggy and meat dry. Won't even consider giving this place a second try.

Most excellent brisket! Very little fat to trim off, melts in your mouth. Very friendly staff and helpful. I will return.

Best bbq in town! Had the brisket on a bun. It was huge! A meal in itself.

Love the food. All the BBQ is delicious as are the jalapeno peppers. They're stuffed with shredded BBQ! Mmmmm. They also have the most complete selection of root beers I've ever seen, and I do love root beer. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricier than most BBQ places, however, they do have some unique menu items.

If you're southbound on 281, keep going to Burnet or Marble Falls to eat. We have, like others, always wondered about this place & finally tried it. The meats (turkey & pulled pork) were bland, no smokiness or seasonings. Sides weren't great either. The green beans were canned. Plain white bread instead of quality rolls like Hawaiian rolls would have been nice too, especially since food was expensive at $12.50 for lunch plate. We've eaten at several BBQ joints since moving to Texas from CA & this one ranks near the bottom. Sorry to say that California even has better BBQ than Harts. (sorry, but true).

This was a great stop for some great priced BBQ. The staff was awesome and made suggestions. Portion size was great for the price. The huge BBQ potato was only $8. It can easily be shared between two people.

I haven't tried the BBQ (I lived in Lockhart for years, so I'll only eat BBQ there), but I order baked potatoes from here regularly since they deliver, and they are AMAZING!!!! Reasonably priced, and they get them to you quickly! I've also had their burgers and fries, and they are always really good as well. Definitely recommend!

Good bbq...no frills inside. We has our dogs so sat outside which was good.

Brisket was delicious and everything else, with 1 exception though. Although it was about 5pm or so the food was cold, it sure wasn't hot and I didn't want to ask them to reheat my food in the microwave.
