“Great food, kinda pricey but worth it”

“A hidden gem! I have passed this place once a week and was under the impression that was just that, a beer market! Surprise!!! The Somalier of the bluff winery suggested to try the pizza! It was out of this world! I will go back The ambiance is casual and very family friendly! Glad Lampasas has this amazing place! Plus the children are welcome and have opportunities to play the game machines! Bravo!!!”

My husband makes a great steak so it’s always hard to find a really good steak out unless you’re at a very expensive restaurant but Country Kitchen is a great comparable at an incredible price!!! Servings were good size, sides were tasty!! Highly recommend them for Saturday night Steak night!!”

“My first time In Lampasas for work and craving noodles, absolutely did not disappoint for this tiny town. Immediately greeted by good humans who helped me navigate the menu for my first time in the place, and was given more recommendations for other genres of food while I am working here. Staff is super friendly, the food is awesome, and the place was spotless. I will absolutely be coming back and I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken breast with noodles, edemame and a side of yum yum sauce. It is exactly what I was craving and the regular portion has enough for me to have lunch tomorrow also. The food is great but the service was exceptional.”

“This rating is for the owner of the establishment. I am a consistent customer and for the last 3 months or so, your computer screens have failed to allow me to tip you're deserving employees. Your employees are being robbed of what's rightfully theirs. The lack of attention from the ownership and management makes me want to seek my business elsewhere. Please address this issue immediate. And after doing research this is in direct violation with the Texas Workforce Commission of withholding tips from employees. And if not addressed I will present each of your employees with the proper paperwork to report these actions”

I honestly forgot her name but she had dreads and a black bandana as a mask and let me tell you.... best service and best attitude I have EVER had at a fast food restaurant and I don’t even like bushes (was getting for friends). She is the reason I will come back. Her happiness and energy and attitude is contagious!!!! Love her!!!”

“The people at this location are very nice. My order has come out exactly as I want it everytime. I go there once a month as I pass through Lampasas The bathrooms are usually clean. I mobile order in when I'm about 2 miles out. It usually ready unless it lunch time or just after work. Sometimes weekends can be busy as well.”

“Don't sleep on the chicken sandwiches. Golden Chick is one of the best. Get the battered fries and they have small cups of real ranch, not the bottled or packaged but real ranch. Also the people that work here are super friendly.”
