“Great food, kinda pricey but worth it”

“A hidden gem! I have passed this place once a week and was under the impression that was just that, a beer market! Surprise!!! The Somalier of the bluff winery suggested to try the pizza! It was out of this world! I will go back The ambiance is casual and very family friendly! Glad Lampasas has this amazing place! Plus the children are welcome and have opportunities to play the game machines! Bravo!!!”

“We tried the Saturday Steak Night at Country Kitchen and it was great! My husband makes a great steak so it’s always hard to find a really good steak out unless you’re at a very expensive restaurant but Country Kitchen is a great comparable at an incredible price!!! Servings were good size, sides were tasty!! Highly recommend them for Saturday night Steak night!!”

“My first time In Lampasas for work and craving noodles, absolutely did not disappoint for this tiny town. Immediately greeted by good humans who helped me navigate the menu for my first time in the place, and was given more recommendations for other genres of food while I am working here. Staff is super friendly, the food is awesome, and the place was spotless. I will absolutely be coming back and I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken breast with noodles, edemame and a side of yum yum sauce. It is exactly what I was craving and the regular portion has enough for me to have lunch tomorrow also. The food is great but the service was exceptional.”

“This rating is for the owner of the establishment. I am a consistent customer and for the last 3 months or so, your computer screens have failed to allow me to tip you're deserving employees. Your employees are being robbed of what's rightfully theirs. The lack of attention from the ownership and management makes me want to seek my business elsewhere. Please address this issue immediate. And after doing research this is in direct violation with the Texas Workforce Commission of withholding tips from employees. And if not addressed I will present each of your employees with the proper paperwork to report these actions”

“Wonderful hidden gem in Lampasas! Amazing variety of unique ice cream flavors. But what makes this stand out from all the ice cream shops is the pottery, glass and painting to do with friends and family, while enjoying a treat! The unique shelves used to hold the pottery, the kiln in house, the glass making, other crafts are all amazing. But the young lady that waited on everyone with such Grace and the best customer service made it a 10 star review!”

I honestly forgot her name but she had dreads and a black bandana as a mask and let me tell you.... best service and best attitude I have EVER had at a fast food restaurant and I don’t even like bushes (was getting for friends). She is the reason I will come back. Her happiness and energy and attitude is contagious!!!! Love her!!!”

“After having a horrible customer service experience at Bush's Chicken down the road, I decided to bring my family's business to Golden Chick instead. I'm glad I did because they have earned a loyal customer.

From the moment I walked in, the employees were friendly, respectful, and genuinely seemed to appreciate my business. The customer service was outstanding and a complete night-and-day difference from what I had just experienced elsewhere.

The food was incredible. The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and cooked perfectly. The sides were just as impressive. The green beans were some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant, and the okra was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and was served exactly the way it should be.

It's refreshing to find a place that still takes pride in both its food and customer service. Golden Chick has definitely earned my business from now on, and I'll be back again soon.

“We're from Fort Worth and were passing through and found this plane on Google. This place didn't disappoint the service was great and Carnitas were very good it's too bad I don't frequent Lampasas to eat here often.”

“Standard Starbuck's. Stop here occasionally on Austin to Brownwood route.
Starbuck's food is good/tasty, but it's almost entirely carbs and sugar. Not much meaty protein options.
Lot isn't great if you have an RV or trailer.
Staff isn't always as attentive to customers as staff at other Starbuck's.”

“Wife and I travel alot for work. Long days late night. We always hit up Whataburger late night. We have never had an issue. Our food is always fresh and service is fast. But we love the crew. They know us by name and are always friendly. 5 stars isn't enough.”
