“Beer bar ... nice attentive bartender... friendly locals watching Yellowstone on TV... very welcoming ? Beer only and set ups BYOB ..pool tables ... smoking allowed.. nice dive”
“Love this restaurant! Food is always delicious, service is quick, and staff are very friendly. Have visited a handful of times and looking forward to my next trip. Love the chicken wraps and burgers.”
“We attended the latest wine pick-up party last Sunday 2/18/24. The day was absolutely beautiful, we chatted with some delightful couples, and we enjoyed the spuds and chili. We leisurely strolled the wine tasting and, as usual, it didn't disappoint in the least...even the new varietals. "Well done, Perissos!" We've been members of other area winery clubs, but Perissos is our only home now.”
“My sister is OBSESSED with their coffee. She always snapchats me with a nice big coffee. Girls recognize her too.Same prices as Starbucks but SO WORTH it! Much better value.”
“we went here today with family and it was so delicious! everything was hot and fresh, great taste! the cashier was the sweetest lady ever!!! we cannot wait to go again when we're in town”
“I come here almost every Sunday to get my favorite Cinna-bomb (special drink). The service is always full of smiles and polite and the drink is almost always perfect.”
“Man, what can I say, this place has the best tacos and the best salsa of any place I've ever visited and I have lived in Texas for 15+ years. Always friendly, always great food, and always a great value! Sometimes a little slow in the summer months because the secret is out and everybody knows that this is the place to go! Keep up the great work and we'll keep buying tacos!”
“Run don’t walk to the Potatoe Shack!! We had chicken and dumplings today. It was melt in your mouth delicious!! The blueberry muffins and peach cobbler muffins are the stuff dreams are made of. Don’t even get me started on her cinnamon rolls!! I’m gonna have to buy bigger pants thanks to the Potatoe ”
“Easy to miss this little dive amongst all the small businesses surrounding 1431 in Kingsland, but made it my first destination of the day due to a recommendation as the best traditional Mexican restaurant in Kingsland. Firstly, this is a cash only (ATM within) and BYOB establishment. For the latter, no bar and I assume one can bring their own drinks but did not see anyone drinking beer. With 14 4 tops, the place is tiny and looks to be well managed and great staff. No frills dining interior but clean and plethora of decor. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The menu is surprisingly very large so would be great to see how a small place executes during peak times. Traditional options only so if you're looking for fancy, this is not it. I ordered the tortilla soup, (3) Verde "green" enchiladas, half plate nachos, guac and queso. The chicken enchiladas were simply outstanding, perfectly seasoned pure white rotisserie chicken, with great tasting refried beans and rice. The verde sauce great. I got the standard queso which was okay. The guac was outstanding. The complimentary chips and salsa were okay. The Nachos need some help and were nothing special for the price $6.99. The soup was outstanding perfectly seasoned and plenty of chicken and avocados. Ticket time for entree was a timely 8min. Overall, I love family owned and operated businesses and recommend this one. While I'm sticking to 4* review, I simply need to come back to try other items for a complete review. Nice job owners. Will be back. Prices for entrees are good.”
“UPDATE 03-03-2024Back to Torr Na Lochs today for a "wine club member" pick-up party. What a blast! Our first time at a pick-up party in "the pasture"... where they move the longhorns to another pasture and set up a HUGE party tent for the member party. Live music this time as well... (Spicey Loops, good one-man band). The wines here are always good, we had the reds today to go with the pulled pork tacos, beans, rice, etc. What a great pairing! Met a bunch of really fun folks there, who happen to also have memberships at some of the other wineries in the area. Fun day, great weather, friendly folks... a good day! Highly recommend Torr Na Lochs for good wine, good food, and neighborly folks!”
“The best barbecue in Burnet County! The best I've had anywhere! Randy is a fantastic cook, and does a miracle work with pork and beef, also does turkeys which are fantastic!”
“Sal's made the most amazing LASAGNA to our family eclipes/reunion gathering. More than enough food for our family of 20 adults. Fresh salad, lots of delicious garlic bread and of course his AMAZING LASAGNA. Thank you Sal for all you did to make a completely great dinner. ? ? ?”
“We enjoyed the wings and I had the templeton's burger with fries. They had several kids games to stay busy and they played some Queen music. Just overall a very nice spot to eat and hangout.”
“Good service. Lots of yummy flavor to choose from. They also have several fruit drinks, and snacks that are very tasty.Only drawback is that it is a cash only shop.”
“Great spot for Mexican after riding MTB on Spyder and Reveille.Good portion size!Food is tasty but no Horchata or any drinks which you need to get from the gas station.”
“Patio was under construction whwn we stopped by for a pickup order. Pizza was ready on time and good quality! Should have grabbed some parmesan and spicy red pepper to add some additional flavor.”
“I ordered a New York style strawberry cheesecake for a family gathering and it was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. Everyone raved about how great it was. Not only was the cake great the service was awesome. They offered to deliver the cake and it arrived exactly on time! Great experience. I highly recommend and will using these guys again.”
“I’ve been eating here for years and in my opinion this is some of the best Mexican food around. I love breakfast and have been enjoying Mexican breakfast for over 30 years and this is as good as it gets in my opinion.”
“We have been here several times for breakfast and it was always great. This time we had lunch and they didn’t disappoint. Chicken fried steak. Turkey club. Sweet potato hash.”
“Excellent spot for breakfast tacos in Kingsland, Texas right near Lake LBJ - food truck with area to sit and eat if you like. Tacos are cooked to order and are quite tasty! They pair very well with some Lazy Heron coffee nearby for an outstanding breakfast. Cash-only location so make sure you have some on hand.”
“My wife and I stayed at the Antlers Inn, and had breakfast at Kingsland Coffee twice. The coffee selection is great, and fresh! The quiche is wonderful, and the restaurant also has cereal, fresh pastries and breads. It's a unique setting in a historic hotel that is warm and inviting. A must stope when in Kingsland.”
“Always a good place to stop and you do not have to worry about being rushed out as soon as the credit card machine says accepted. Good old fashioned person to person customer service.”
“This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the area. We go every Sunday for breakfast and I always try and squeeze it into lunch during the work week if possible. The food is always great and its incredibly affordable. Highly Recommend!”
“They serve some of he best seafood and catfish I have had. I highly recommend Krab Kingz. By the way we have ate at the restaurant in Copperas Cove and now Tow over 7 times, just as yummy from the first day to now.”
“Good BBQ but won't go back. I looked at the menu on the wall decided to get the Sandwich with two sides for 12.99. When I went to pay I was charged $17.49 plus tax. Just not right.”
“The food is very good and it actually has flavor compared to other Tex-Mex restaurants. I've had breakfast to dinner and I cannot get enough of there food. Staff are very polite and came to check almost every single time I've went. Additionally, the inside is decorated with culture and art, and with pretty cool ceramic statues of them playing with a guitar.”
“What can I say about pats, they are always a warm welcome. No matter if you are down or up they make you feel at home. It is a positive atmosphere with bartenders who genuinely make you feel welcome. I have always loved coming here since I turned 21. My mom would bring me here when I was 17 to play pool and I knew then what bar I would love to be at. To those who try to say they over serve you are sadly mistaken, I have seen multiple people get asked to leave and they have even offered ride to make sure they were safe. They have kept this place positive, drug free and true to the core.”
“Within the last month, I have been from Houston to San Antonio to Florida and none can compare to Tequila Jaliscos in Kingsland Tx, amazing service, even better food and all around the best we have ever had. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!”
“It more of a Tex- Mex food. However the interior is very authentic. The waiter was polite and had jokes up his sleeves. Salsas are tasty. I love how it a corner store and the back is a restaurant. They do accept Apple Pay.”
“3 couples visiting from 3 different cities. We went on a day when they were hosting a Chili Cook-off. Service is rated low, because of very long wait to get our order. (almost an hour). When food did arrive, it was very good, especially fried shrimp. This is a great bar, and we'll be back the next time we are visiting the area.”
